In the name of God Amen the xxvijth [27th] daye of June in the yeare of or Lord God one Thowsand sixe hundred and twelve
I Mathew Butelour of Sandwich beinge sicke of bodye but of good and perfecte memorye (God be thancked) doe ordeyne this my last will and testament in mannr followeinge
Firste I Comend my soule into the hands of God my creator hopeinge assuredlie through the onlye merritts of his sonne Jesus Christe my Saviour to be made partaker of the lyfe evrlastinge, and I Commend my bodye to the earth whereof yt was made in full assured hope of a blessed resarrection And for my temporall goods gyven and lent unto me by Gods good providence

Firste I give and bequeath unto the Dutch Church for the mayntenance of the Maister & poore twentye shillings
And concerninge my wyffe I give her Firste the best bedsteadle wth the bed and all what belongeth thereto of furniture wth all her apparrell both wollen and lynnen appartayninge unto her bodye
and for as much as as concernes my other goods I give and bequeath them betweene my wyffe and Children equallie betweene them both to be devyded

and for the p’forminge of this my last will I doe ordeyne and make my wyffe Catherine Bouteler and Gyles Bouteler my Brother executors of this my last will and testament and Josias Cute ovrseer of the same

In Witnese whereof I the said Mathew Boutelour have subscribed this wth myne hand and confirmed in the presence of:
