First I give and devise unto my grandson JOHN LIPPES one of the sonns of my sonn EDWARD LIPPS of the
said Towne of Faversham Butcher to the heirs of his body lawfully begotten and to be begotten all that my
messuage or tenements lands and premisses and appurtenances situate lying and being in the parishes of
Goodnestone and Gravney in the County of Kent.
And for want of such issue then I give and devise unto my grandaughter MARY LIPPS sister of the said JOHN LIPPS
and to the heires of her body lawfully begotten and to be begotten.
And for want of such issue then to HENRY MOORES and EDWARD MOORES sonns of my brother JOHN MOORES and to JOHN MOORES
sonn of my brother ROBERT MOORES to be equally divided between them and to their heires forever.
Item I give and devise my messuages or tenements gardens backside and premisses thereunto belonging with the
appurtenances situate and being in West Street in Faversham aforesaid now in the occupacon of mee the said
ELIZABETH BOVIER unto my said grandaughter MARY LIPPS and to the heires of her body lawfully
begotten and to be begotten.
And for want of such issue then to the above named JOHN LIPPS her brother and to the heires of his body lawfully begotten and to be begotten.
And for default of such issue then to the said HENRY MOORES EDWARD and JOHN MOORES sonns of my said brothers JOHN and ROBERT to be
likewise equally divided between them and their heires forever.
Item I give unto my sister SUSANN the wife of THOMAS BERRY of Selling Carpenter all my wearing apparrell both linnen and woollen.
Item I give and devise unto my said sister SUSANN one annuity or yearely rent of twenty shillings of lawfull money of England
to bee issueing and goeing out of my Lands and Tenements in Goodnestone during her naturall life payable unto her or her
assignes att two most equal feasts or termes in the Yeare (that is to say) at ye Feast of ye Annuntiacon of Our Blessed
Lady St. Mary the Virgin and St. Michael the Archangell by equall porcons ot within twenty one days after either of the said feasts.
The first payment thereof to beginn at the Feast that shall happen next after my decease.
Item I give and devise unto my said grandaughter MARY LIPPS the sume of five pounds of lawfull money of
England to be paid unto her or her assignes by my Executors hereafter named att or upon the Day of her marriage
or at her age of one and twenty yeares which next shall bee and happen after my decease.
Item I give unto her all my linnen whatsoever (my wearing linnen before devised excepted).
And further my Will and Meaning is that if my said grandchildren JOHN LIPPS and MARY LIPPS shall happen to dye without issue of their bodys lawfully begotten and the said HENRY MOORES EDWARD MOORES and JOHN MOORES shall survive and over live them and enjoy my said messuages and Lands herein above devised that then every of them or their heires Executors or Administrators of every of them shall pay or cause to be paid the sume of five ponds a piece out of my said Lands unto ELIZABETH the widdow of JAMES PICKERELL? late of Faversham aforesaid Carpenter and unto ANNE the wife of PAUL GILL of Boughton�under-Blean Carpenter equally to be divided betweene them.
And further I give and devise unto ye said ELIZABETH the widdow of JOHN PICKERELL her dwelling in that part of my messuage in Faversham wherein the widdow PLAYCE now inhabiteth untill my said grandaughter MARY LIPPS shall attaine the age of one and twenty yeares quietly to bee by her enjoyed untill the said age without molestation or disturbance of any person or persons whatsoever.
And I doe make constitute and ordaine my said grandson JOHN LIPPS Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
Mr. THOMAS LEES of Faversham aforesaid and STEPHEN JONES of ye same Parish maulster I appoint to be Overseers of my said
Will hereby desiring to soe and take care that the same bee well and faithfully performed.
And I hereby revoke and make void all former wills whatsoever hereunto by mee made and doe publish and declare this present writeing to be
my last Will and Testament.
In Witness whereof I the said ELIZABETH BOVIER to every sheete this my last Will contayning three sheetes
of paper sett my hand and seale Dated the Day and Yeare first above written.
