In the Name of God Amen The Seaven and Twentyeth day of November in the yeare of our Lord God One thousand six hundred eighty eight in the fourth yeare of the reigne of King James the second of Great Brittaine etc.
I Thomas Bowdler of Feversham in the County of Kent being in good health thanks be to God Doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner following vizt.
First I comend my soule to the mercy of Almighty God my Creator and Redeemer And my body to such decent interment as my Executor shall see fitt in moderation

Alsoe I doe give and bequeath unto my cozen Alice Stampe the Wife of Edwards Stampe Ten pounds
And unto her three Children vizt. One son and two daughters forty shillings apeice

Alsoe I give unto Thomas Bowdler Son of my Uncle Richard Bowdler Ten pounds
Item I give to my daughter in Law Mrs Martha Porter Ten pounds
And to her son Thomas Porter Five pounds

And as for all the Rest and Residue of my estate reall and personall my goods and chattells Lands Tenements debts oweing to me whatsoever and wheresoever I doe hereby give will and devise unto my Nephew Thomas Bowdler son of my brother John Bowdler and unto his Heires Executors and Assignes

And I doe hereby constitute and appoint my said Nephew Thomas Bowdler to be my sole Executor
And I doe hereby revoke any former or other Will by me made

In witness whereof to this my present last Will and Testament I have sett my hand and seale dated the day and yeare first above written
