I also give and bequeath unto the poor of the parish of Kingstone in the said County of Kent the sume of twenty shillings of lawfull money of England to be paid and distributed amongst them by my Executor within one month next after my decease.
Also I do give and bequeath unto Mary my dearly beloved wife during the terme of
her natural life the moderate use and wearing of one halfe of my household stuffe and beding together with all my
linnen and my silver Tankard and to dispose of the Tankard and linnen when and to whom she pleases leaving all the
beds furnished with linnen
and if after my decease Mary my wife should depart from my executor hereafter mentioned then my will is that she should have at her
departing a good cow a shoat and a good load of wood.
Also I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Boyes the sume of two hundred and fifty pounds of good
and lawfull money of England to paid by my Executor hereafter mentioned at or upon, our Ladyday
which shall be in the year of our Lord 1707 and my will is that my Executor hereafter mentioned shall
pay unto my son Thomas Boys the sume of Tenne pounds a year of good and lawfull money of England
for two years time vis from our Ladyday 1705 to our Ladyday 1707 with money _________for interest for the said
250 pounds and my will is that my son Thomas Boys shall board with my Executor hereinafter mentioned from this
time till our Ladyday next following without paying for likewise
I give unto my son Thomas Boys the bed upon where he now lyeth with all the furniture there unto belonging.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Son Edward Boys the sume of five pounds of good and lawfull money of England to
be paid in six months next after my decease by my Executor.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Bunce the sume of thirty five pounds of good
and lawfull money of England to be paid by my Executor the one halfe at six months next after my
decease and the other halfe at twelve months next after my decease.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Jane the wife of Leonard Woodruff (Woodward?) the sume of thirty
pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid by my Executor the one halfe at six months and the other
half at twelve months next after my decease
Also I do give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the wife of George Usborn (Osbourne) all such stock and crops as shall be at time of my decease upon in and about or belonging to the farm called Napchester where George Usborn and Elizabeth his wife now dwelleth. And I do give her what I have laid out and expended on the said farm and likewise I do give her five pounds of money to be paid by my Executor in six months next after my decease.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anne the wife of John Matson the Sume of twenty pounds of good and
lawfull money of England to be paid the one halfe at six months and the other halfe at twelve months next after my decease my Executor.
Also I give bequeath unto my grandson Robert Boys son my son John Boys deceased the sume of ten pounds of
lawfull money of England to put him out an apprentice to be paid by my Executor when he is capable of being put
an apprentice and my will is that my sons William Boys and Edward Boys shall take care of the said Robert Boys my
grandson after my wife's decease till he comes of age and to have the revenue of what I give him till he comes of age.
All the rest of my goods chattells and personal Estate whatsoever not before particularly bequeathed, my debts legacies funerall charges and probate of this my will being first paid and deducted, I do give and bequeath the same unto my loving son William Boys and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint him the said William Boys Sole Executor of this my last will and testament.
This is last will and testament of me the said Robert Boys made and declared the said twenty-ninth day of September 1704
As to touching the disposing of all and singular my messuages lands tenements and hereditaiments
what-so-ever in the said County of Kent I do give and devise the same as followeth that is to say
I give and devise unto Mary my loving wife for and during the terme of her natural life all that messuage and
tenement barn and land thereunto belonging containing byestimation six acres more or lesse lying and being
in the Parish of Eythorne and now or late in the tenner or occupation of John Stuppell or his assignes
and from and after the decease of Mary my wife I do and devise that land with the appurtenances thereunto
belonging to my son Thomas Boys
and from and after the decease of my son Thomas Boys I do give and
devise the same unto my son William Boys and his heirs and assignes forever.
Also my son William Boys paying unto my son Edward Boys the sume of fifty pounds of lawfull money of England in six months next
after the decease of my son Thomas Boys.
Also I do give and devise unto Mary my wife during the terme of her naturall life all that my messuage or tenement
and land belonging containing by estimation five acres more or less situate, lying and being in the Parish of Eythorne
and now or late in the tenner or occupation of Solomon Sammon or his assigns
and from and after the decease of Mary my wife I do give and devise the same unto my grandson Robert Boys the son of my son John Boys deceased
when he comes to the age of one and twenty years to him and his heirs forever.
And if the said Robert Boys should die
without heirs then I devise the same unto my three sons Thomas William and Edward and their heirs equally.
Also I do give and devise unto my wife Mary for and during the terme of her naturall life all that my messuages and
tenement barn stable and land thereunto belonging containing by estimation seventeen acres more or less with the
appurtenances situate lying and being in the Parishes of Chislett and Hern and now in the tenner or occupation of
Thomas Hemmau or his assignes.
And from after the decease of Mary my wife I do give and devise the same unto my son William Boys and his heirs and assignes forever.
Also I do give and devise unto Mary my wife during the terme of her naturall life all that my messuage, backside and
orchard thereunto belonging situate lying and being in the Parish of Tilmanstone and now or late in the tenner or
occupation of Thomas Turner or his assignes
and from and after the decease of Mary my wife I do give and devise
the same with the appurtenances to my son Edward Boys and his heirs and assignes forever.
IN WITNESS hereof I the said Robert Boys to this my last will and testament in two sheets of paper containing to
each sheete my hand and seale have sett and put Dated this 29th day of September in the year of our Lord 1704 -
