Item I will unto THOMAS BRENCHLIE my sonne twenty pounds of lawfull money of England to be
paid unto Robert Reynolds my executor at the end of one whole yeare next after the death of
THOMAS BRENCHLIE my father which twenty pounds is in the hands of RICHARD BRENCHLIE my
brother.
Item I will unto THOMAS BRENCHLIE my said sonne one heifer of three yeares old.
Item I will unto WILLIAM BRENCHLIE my sonne twenty pounds of good and lawfull money of
England to be paid unto my executor aforesaid at the end of three yeares next after the
death of THOMAS BRENCHLIE my father which twentie pounds is in the hands of RICHARD BRENCHLIE
my brother.
Item I will unto WILLIAM BRENCHLIE my said sonne one heifer of three yeares old.
Item I will and bequeath unto my three daughters ELIZABETH BRENCHLIE ALICE BRENCHLIE and ANNE BRENCHLIE thirtie pounds of lawfull money of England to be equally divided between them that is to saie tenne pounds a peece to be paid unto them at their severall ages of twentie yeares or at the daie of their marriage if they shall happen to marry before they come to their age of twentie yeares.
Item I will unto ELIZABETH BRENCHLIE and ALICE BRENCHLIE my two eldest daughters to eitherof them one heifer of three yeares old. All the rest of my moveable goodes unbequeathed if any be I will shall be equally divided amonge all my children before named at the discretion of my executor hereafter named.
Item I will yt my executor shall not paie my two sonnes before named their portions before
they doe come to their severall ages of five and twenty yeares.
Item I will that my eldest daughter shall not have her portion before mentioned untill one
whole yeare be ended after my decease.
Item I will yt Robert Reynolds my brother in lawe shall be my executor and shall have the government of all my children & their portions and to put it forth to some encrease for them untill they come to their severall ages before mentioned in this my will.
Item I will yt it shall be lawfull for my executor to allow and to paie himselfe all such sommes of money as any he shall be chardged wth all in any respect in bringing up my children paying my debts and seing my funerall discharged out of my childrens portions before named until they come to their severall ages before mentioned.
In witness to this my will I have sette my hand and seall the daie and yeare first above written in the presence of John Terrenden clerke and Thomas Lake.
I will that Thomas Lake and RICHARD BRENCHLIE my brothers shall be my executors of this my will. WILLIAM BRENCHLIE by his mark.
