In the name of God Amen Quinto die mensis Junij Anno dini ... [1591]
I Robert Brett of the parish of Ringewolde in the Cownty of Kent, Husbandman being sicke and weake of my mortall bodie, but whole and sounde of minde and Remembrannce (I thanke the lorde God therefore) doe make, declare and ordaine this my last will and Testament in maner and forme following
First I yeeld and committ my soule into the hands and mercy of Jesus Christ my onely Savior and Redeemer trusting through the bloude sheding to inherit life everlasting And my bodie I comit to the earth to be buried in the Churchyard of Ringewold aforesaid so neere my Ancesters there as it shall seeme best to the Executor of this my last will and Testament
Item all trespasses and offences done to me wittingly or unwittingly by any maner of persons whatsoever I forgive them from the bottome of (my) harte And I beseech (the) whole worlde to forgive me likewise

Item I give and bequeath to my brother Richard Brett his heires and assignes all my lands, Tenements and hereditaments w[i]th all and singular their appertenannces, casements? and comodities w[i]thin the parish of Ringewolde aforesaid or els where within the said Cownty of Kent, payeng and discharging all my debts and legacies
Item I give and bequeath to the said Richard Brett, all and singular my moveable goods, Corne, Cattell and houshold stuffe whatsoev[e]r

Item I ordaine and make the said Richard Brett my brother the executor of this my last will and Testament,
and John Graunt of Walmer the Supvisor of the same

Wittnesses hereto: Richard Tucker and John Burges of Ringewolde aforesaid and the said John Grannt

Probatum fuit: 24th May 1593
