In the name of God Amen the thirde and twentyth daye of September, in the yeare of our lord God a thowsand fyve hundred Seavntye Seaven
I Dennys Broke wydowe of the paryshe of Woodnesborowe in the countye of Kent weake in bodye but of good and p[er]ffett mynde, thankes be unto All myghtye God Doe make and ordayne this my last wyll and testament in manner & fourme followinge
First I comende my Sowle unto all myghtye God my maker & unto Jesus Christ my redeamer by whose most precyouse blud sheaddynge I trust assuredlye to be saved

Item I doe gyve unto Cycelye Elnor syxe pounds thirtene? shillings fower pence of good and lawfull money of England To be payde unto her when she shall come to the age of eightene yeares
Item I doe gyve unto the said Cycylye one heaffer To be putt to profett for her use ymedyiatly after my decease
Item I doe gyve unto the saide Cycylye my nowe coverlett

Item I do gyve unto Elyzabeth Elnor two ewes to be putt forthe to her use ymedyatlye after my decease
Item I doe gyve unto ye poore inhabytors of this paryshe Tenne shillyngs

All the rest of my goods and Cattalls my legacyes and funerall expensyes payd and dyschardged I doe holye gyve and bequethe unto John Elnor my sonne, whome I doe ordayne and make my sole Executor of this my last wyll and testament

As touchinge the dysposytyon [disposition] of my lands

Item I doe gyve unto John Elnor my sonne and to Thomasen Ellnor hys wyfe ...? howses (and) seaven acres of lande which do lye together in the paryshe of Reculver of ells where in the County of Kente To have and to holde the same howses and seaven acres of Lande wyth their appurten[a]ncs to the sayd John Elnor and Thomasen his wyfe and to their heyers for ever

In wyttnes whereof I the same Dennys have hereunto sett my hande the daye and yeare above wrytten in ye pr[e]sence of
Walter Harryson ..... vycar there, And Thomasen Elnor, Thomas Wrelly?, Jeames Webster and others
