In the name of God Amen the xvjth [16th] day of Julie Anno dini 1616 And in the xiiijth [14th] yeare of the reigne of our Sovereigne Lord James by the grace of God of England Fraunce and Ireland Kinge defendor of the faith &c. And of Scotland the nine and fortieth
I Elizabeth Bunce of Stallefeild in the County of Kent widdow being sicke of body but of perfect remembraunce, thanks be given to God therefore, doe make this my prsent last testament and last Will in manner and forme followeinge
And first I comend my Soule into the hands of Allmighty God hoping by the meritts of his Sonne our Saviour Jesus Christ only to be saved And (my) body to the earth to be buried in the Church neere my husband there

Item I do give to the poore people of the parish of Stallefeild the som of six shillings eight pence to be distributed among them at the time of my buriall
Item I doe give and bequeath unto my five daughters Anne Lawe, Martha Peirce, Elizabeth Elye, Thomasine Bunce and Mercy Bunce to either of them five pounds to be paid in manner in forme followeinge
And first to my daughter Anne Lawe five pounds wthin one yeare next after my decease
To Martha Peirce her fyve pounds wthin two yeare next after my decease
And to my daughter Elizabeth Ely her fyve pounds wthin three yeare next after my decease
To my daughter Thomassine her fyve pounds wthin foure yeare next after my decease or her day of marriage wch shall first happen
And to my daughter Mercyy Bunce her fyve pounds wthin five yeare next after my decease or her day of Marriage wch shall first happen

Allso I doe give and bequeath unto the said Mercy Bunce my daughter twenty shillings of money more, one Cowe, one presse standing nere the bed in the Chamber ovr the hall and one Chest standinge under the East window there to be paid & delivered unto her presentlie after my decease;

Item I doe give and bequeath unto the five children of my daughter Judith Smalle the some of five pounds of lawfull money of England equally to be devided betweene them to be paid to them at their ages of xxtie [20] yeares or daies of marriage
And the said five pounds to be delivered to Mathew Greenstreet by my executors wthin one yeare next after my decease And he to enter into a bond to my executors for the paiement thereof accordinglie as aforesaid
And he to paie to my daughter Judith viijs a yeare towards their bringinge up untill the time of the paiment thereof;

The residue of all my goods and chattells And Lease I doe give and bequeath unto my two sonnes Thomas and John Bunce whom I doe make the executors of this my last will and testament
And I doe intreat my good freinds Henry Elwin and Mathew Greenstreet to be my overseers of the my will and testament

This will was read published sealed and delivered ye day and yeare first above written in the prsence of:
Henry Elwin and Mathew Greenstreet

Probatum fuit: 23 July 1616.

Elizabeth Bunce was buried 19 Jul 1616 at St. Mary, Stalisfield, Kent.
Henry Bunce & Elizabeth Greenstreet married 7 Nov 1603 at Stalisfield.
Anne Bunce married James Lawe 24 Aug 1608 at Stalisfield.
