In the Name of God Amen I Matthew Bunce of the Parish of Throwly in the County of Kent Gent being sick and weake but of perfect mind and memory Doe Declare this to bee my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following That is to say
Imprimis I bequeath my Soule to God that gave it and my body to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrixes hereafter named

Item I give to my wife Mrs Mary Bunce one shilling
Item I give to my Grandsonne Stephen Bunce twenty pounds to binde him forth Apprentice
Item I give to my Granddaughter Ann Moss five pounds

Item I give to my Daughters Ann Kingsmel and Elizabeth and to my Grandchildren Ann Bradford and Sarah Godfrey all that Debt which is due and owing to me from my brother Mr Welisborn Sills and all the Interest due to me for the same for the secureing whereof he hath confessed to me two Judgments as likewise all other monys and Debts due to mee and all my goods and Chattells which I have not by bill of Saile or otherwise disposed of formerly to be equally divided amongst them my Just Debts Legacies and funerall charges being first paied and satisfied

It is my Will and meaning that the two Shaires which I have bequeathed to my two Grandchildren Ann Bradford and Sarah Godfrey shall be payed to each of them at their respective Ages of Eighteene yeares or daies of Marriage which shall first happen
and in case either or both of them shall Chance to die before her or their Age of Eighteene yeares or Day of Marriage then their shares and proportions to goe to the next Child which either of their Mothers shall have and shall attaine the said Age or day of Marriage and the interest in the meane time to bee paid half yearly by my Executrixes

And lastly I appoint my Daughter Ann Bunce and Elizabeth Bunce to be my Joynt Executrixes willing and requireing to see this my Will Faithfully performed

In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand this thirtieth day of September in the yeare of our Lord One Thousand six hundred Ninety three Mathew Bunce
