And as touching all and singular my Estate both real and personal whatsoever wheresoever and of what
Nature soever that it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me with in this Life
I give and bequeath the Rents of all and singular my said real Estate unto Susanna my welbeloved Wife for and during the Term
of her natural Life
Provided and upon this Condicon that she the said Susanna my said Wife keep all and singular my said Real (estate) at her own Costs and Charges
during her said Life in good and sufficient Reparations and Amendments suitable for Tenants
And I give and bequeath unto the said Susanna my said Wife the Interest use and possession of all and singular my ready Money and personal Estate whatsoever after all my just debts Funeral Charges and Expences of Probate of this my Last Will and Testament be thereout fully satisfied contented and paid for and during the Term of her natural Life
And from and immediately after her decease I give devise bequeath and dispose of my said Estate both real and personal as follows, that is to say
As touching and concerning All that my Messuage or Tenement Backside Netloft Kitchen and Appurtenances thereunto belonging situate lying and being in Ramsgate at a Certain Place there commonly called or known by the Name of Brickstreet and now in my own Occupation and in the Occupation of my son in Law Thomas Bayly or his Assigns I give and devise the same unto my Son John Burchum his Heirs and Assigns for ever
Item as touching and concerning all that my One other Messuage or Tenement Kitchen Backside Netloft and Appurtenances hereunto belonging situate lying and being in Ramsgate aforesaid in the said Brickstreet and now in my own Occupation and in the Tenure and Occupation of the widow Farless or of her Assigns I give and devise the same unto my Son Christopher Burchum his Heirs and Assigns for ever
As touching and concerning the Land or Backside to the Two Messuages or Tenements herein before mentioned belonging my Will and meaning herein is that the same shall be equally divided between them And that the way or passage between the Two Messuages from the Street shall be kept in Joynt Tenancy to the equal use of my said Sons John Burchum and Christopher Burchum and to their heirs and Assigns forever
Also as touching and concerning All that Messuage or Tenement Herring House Edifices Buildings Backside and Appurtenances thereunto belonging situate lying and being in Ramsgate aforesaid in my own Occupation I give and devise the same unto my said Sons John Burchum and Christopher Burchum and their Heirs and Assigns forever to be divided between them equally share and share alike
Also as touching and concerning All that my Messuage or Tenement Backside and Appurtenances situate and lying at St. Laurence in the Isle and County aforesaid or nigh a certain place there called and known by the Name of Elenton [Ellington] and now in the Tenure and Occupation of Richard Stevens I give and devise the same unto my Daughter Mary now Wife of Thomas Bayly & to my Daughter Susanna Burchum their Heirs and Assigns forever to be divided between them equally share and share alike
Now as touching and concerning my Personal Estate whatsoever and of what Nature Kind or Property soever as aforesaid from and immediately after the decease of the said Susanna my said Wife I give bequeath and dispose of the same as follows
Impri[ni]s I give bequeath unto my said Son Christopher Burcham and his Heirs All that my part or portion or Share of that good Fishing Boat or
Vessel called the August of Ramsgate whereof my said Son John Burchum is now Master together also with Two Doles of Shot nets and two
Doles of Herring Nets of mine to the said Boat belonging
Item I give and bequeath unto my s[ai]d Daughter Susanna Burchum the Sum of Twenty Pounds of good ad lawful money of Great Britain
Item all the Rest Residue and Remainder of all and singular my said Personal Estate as aforesaid I give and bequeath unto my said Sons John Burchum and Christopher Burchum and to my said Daughter Mary now Wife of the said Thomas Baily and to my sd Daughter Susanna Burchum and their respective Heirs equally to be divided between them share and share alike
And I do hereby make name constitute and appoint the said Susanna my said Wife and my said Son John Burchum joynt and only Exeres [Executors] of this my Last Will and Testament. And I do hereby revoke disanull and make void all and every former and other Wills, Testaments Bequests, Devices and Executors at any Time heretofore by me made ratifying confirming and allowing this and no other to be fore and as my only Last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I the said John Burchum the said Testator have to these Four Sheets of Paper containing my said Last Will and Testament set and
put my Hand and Seal to each Sheet the day & year in the first Sheet first above written

Before Sealed and Delivered the said Testator gives and bequeaths unto his Sister Abigail Hooper Widow the Sum of Two Pounds Sterling yearly from and after his decease during the Term of her natural Life
In the presence of whose Names are hereunto subscribed as Witnesses to the Execution hereof as abovewritten and are:
Christopher Burchum; Thomas Flemin; James Fagg

Jno. Burchum was buried 26th December 1727 at St. Lawrence, Thanet, Kent.
He married Susanna Knowler on 30th January 1686/87 at St. Lawrence.
