Item I give and devise all those my two Messuages or Tenements, Garden, Edifices, Buildings and
appurtenances thereunto belonging situate in Ramsgate aforesaid and now in the occupation of my
daughter Sarah Phenix and my self unto my said Daughter Sarah Phenix her heirs and assigns for ever
she my said daughter Sarah Phenix paying out of the same unto my Daughter Mary Wife of Anthony Hooper her Executors or
Administrators the sum of Forty pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain within six months next after my decease
Item I give and devise unto my said Daughter Mary the Wife of Anthony Hooper and to her heirs and assigns for ever all that my piece or parcell of Land and Store house thereon built and all other the appurtenances unto the same belonging situate lying and being in Ramsgate aforesaid adjoining to the Lands of Anthony Hooper aforesaid East and to the Lands of the heirs of my Brother John Burcham deceased West, she paying out of the same unto my said Daughter Sarah Phenix her Executors or administrators the Sum of ten pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain within six months next after my Decease
All the rest and residue of my Messuages Lands, Tenements and Estate whatsoever both real and
personal I give devise and bequeath unto my said Daughters Mary and Sarah their heirs and assigns for
ever, equally to be divided between them Share and Share alike
And I make my said Daughters Mary and Sarah joint Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Fourteenth day of August Annoque Domini
1731 and in the fifth year of the Reign of King George the second over Great Britain etc.

The above registered Will of Christopher Burcham deceased was proved May the 21st 1736 before the Reverend Richard Monins Clerk lawfull Surrogate to the Worshipfull George Lee, Doctor of Laws, Official General to the Reverend Archdeacon of Canterbury, lawfully deputed and administration of the said deceased’s goods was committed to Mary Hooper (Wife of Anthony Hooper) and Sarah Phenix, Daughters of the said deceased and Executrixes herein named they being first sworn duly to perform the same

Edward Phenix and Sarah Burcham, both of St. Lawrence in the Isle of Thanet were married at St. Andrew, Canterbury on 11th April 1710.
Anthony Hooper married Mary Burcham, both of St. Lawrence in the Isle of Thanet on 6th February 1705 at. St. Lawrence in Thanet.
