In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Burch of the parish of Crundale in the County of Kent Yeoman, being at this time of perfect mind and understanding praised be God, and considering the Uncertainty of when, but certainty of my death, Do make this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other and former Wills by me heretofore made
My soul I do perfectly resign unto my Blessed Redeemer Jesus Christ, in and through whom alone and his glorious Merits and Redemption I humbly hope for Eternal happiness and salvation and my body I commit to the earth in trust and faith of a joyful Resurrection to Everlasting Felicity and happiness, and to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executor and Executrix hereafter mentioned.
And as for my Worldly Estate as God in his Infinite Mercy has bestowed upon me I Will Give Desire and Bequeath the same as follows

First I do Will that all my just debts and Funeral Expences shall be paid
I give, devise will and bequeath unto my niece Sarah Stevens, daughter of my sister Elizabeth Stevens, All that my Messuage or Tenement with the two barns and the land and appurtenances thereunto belonging Containing an acre and a half more or less, and now in my own tenure or occupation scituate lying and being in the parish of Crundale aforesaid And also that my five fields, known by the name of Sanakers, containing fourteen acres more or less, which I purchased of Mr Henry Whiffield To have and to hold the said messuage or tenement and two barns and the lands and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Sarah Stevens her Heirs and Assigns for ever

And my Will and desire is, that my sister Elizabeth Stevens may after my decease (if she survives me) have her dwelling rent free in the other end of my now dwelling house, now in the occupation of Thomas Boulding during the term of her natural life.

I give desire will and bequeath unto my nephew Daniel Stevens a carpenter, son of my sister Elizabeth Stevens All that my Messuage or Tenement with the land and appurtenances thereunto belonging and now in the tenure or occupation of Thomas Knowles, scituate lying and being in the parish of Crundale aforesaid, being what I purchased of Mrs. Juliana Curteis, And also that my Messuage or Tenement with the garden and appurtenances thereunto belonging, and now in the occupation of James Browning, scituate lying and being in the parish of Crundale aforesaid, being what I have enjoyed since my Father�s death, To have and to hold the said Messuages or Tenements and the lands and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Daniel Stevens, his Heirs and Assigns for ever

And also my Will is that the aforesaid Sarah Stevens pay to my brother John Burch the sum of Fifteen Shillings a year, during the life of the said John Burch, the first payment to be made upon any of the four most usual Quarterly Feast, that shall happen after the end of one whole year from my death

And further I give and bequeath unto my said brother John Burch the sum of one shilling as a legacy to be paid him by my Executor & Executrixs, after my decease

And further my Will and desire is that the aforesaid Daniel Stevens and Sarah Stevens pay unto their Mother Elizabeth Stevens, as follows, Daniel Stevens the sum of Twenty shillings a year, and the said Sarah Stevens to pay the sum of Forty shillings a year, during the time of the life of the said Elizabeth Stevens, the same to be paid Quarterly, And the first payment to begin from first usual Quarter or Feast that shall happen after my decease.

I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Stevens and Mary Stevens both daughters of my sister Elizabeth Stevens, each the sum of five pounds to be paid them at the end of twelve months after my decease

And lastly I do hereby make nominate constitute and appoint the above said Daniel Stevens, Elizabeth Stevens (my sister) and Sarah Stevens joint Executor and Executrix�s of this my last Will and Testament

And also give and bequeath to them my said Executor and Executrix�s All my goods and Chattells, bonds, bookdebts, money and all my personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever that I shall be possessed of at my death, after all my debts and Funeral Charges and charge of Administration be paid, To be by them peaceably and quietly enjoyed

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this p�sent & Fourteenth day of August, in the Thirtieth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second, by the grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland, King Defender of the Faith &c. and in the year of our Lord God One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty six.
