In the Name of God I James Calverly Liveing the Parish of Seven Oak in Kent being in good health of body and of sound and perfect mind and memmary and understanding Praised be allmighty God but calling to mind the uncertainty of this Transitory Life do make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form as following That is to say
Imprimis I commend my soul into the Hands of allmighty God hoping through the merrits death and intercestion of my Blesed Lord and saviour Jesus Christ to have remissions of all my trespases And to inheritt Eternall Life and my Body I commit to the earth therin to be decently interred acording to the decrestion of my Executrix hereafter named
And as to my tempral Estate as it hath pleased God bless me with I give and dispose with as followeth

Item I give and bequeath to my kinsman Stephen Colgat in the Parish of Seven oaks in the County of Kent youman and to Sammul Beng dyer liveing at Bradbond in the aforsaid Parish and to James Searls of Breasted youman my Bond or Bonds bills and depts houses good and cloths Upon Trust

Item I give to my sister Beng wife of Thomas Beng one pound one shilling
and to Thomas Beng juner one shilling
and to John Beng one shilling
and to Phillip Beng one shilling
and to Mary Beng one shilling
and to Sarah Benge one shilling
and to Lydia Beng one shilling
these being the children of my sister Beng afore said

Item I give and bequest to my neice Sarah Caffin dafter of my sister Ann Caffin anuity of five pounds to be paid her yearly by my Trustees out of my Railal or Personall Estate during her natureall Life

Item I give to the son of my neice Mary Harden the sume of teen pounds which is in Jeremia Caffin hands upon note liveing at the mile? at Horsham in Sussix to be paid twelfmonts after my deceas to my neice Mary Caffin his mother for the benefits of Jeames Harden her son
But if the said James Harden should dye before his mother then the ten pounds to be paid to her

Itim all my bill bond or bonds goods wearing cloth and rings and depts and my rellal and parsinal istate whatsoever and wheresoever not herein before disposed of after my just depts legacyes funerall expences and proveing of this my Last Will and testament are fully paid and discharged I give devise and bequeath unto my neice Martha Calgat the wife of the said Stephen Colgat to hold to her life and to receive all the Interest and rents and bennefits for the comfort of her naturall Life
And I give to her dafter Martha Calgat after the deceas of my Executrix her mother all bond and bonds and bills houses goods and my farm the house barn out houses land and bilding which lyeth in the parish of Catterham in the County of Surry for Ever

And if it should happen that providence should take away my Exetrix dafter before the death of her mother then I give and bequeth to the heir or heirs of her body for ever all that is above given to the dafter after my Exetrixs death

But if my neice Martha Colgate should dye before her dafter Martha Colgate comes of age or any of my exetrix is children, Then I James Calverly the Testator do give power and appoint and nomenate the said Stephen Colgat and Sammuel Beng and James Searls afore said to be trustees over the issue of my neice Martha Colgate, and with respect to the five pounds a year I have given to my neice Sarah Caffin my will is it shall return to my Executrix after her the said Sarah Caffin death or to her heir or heirs

but if my Executrix should be stripe or loos by death her isue then she shall make use of all that I have given her and suffer no want so long as interests and principle lastes and then my will is thet what is left after death the interest to go equaly to my neice Mary Harden and Sarah Cafin dafters of my aforesaid Ann Caffen duering there naturall lifes and then my will is that it shall be devided betwen my sisters children one half to one sister children after my sister Alexabeth Beng is son Thomas hath had twenty pounds paid to him out of what is left

I give devise and bequeth unto my neice Martha Colgate the wife of Stephen Colgate To hold to her her heires assignes for ever
And I do hereby make ordaine constitute and apoint my said neice the said Martha Colgate full and sole Exetrix of this my Last Will and Testament

And lastly I do hereby nomenate and appoint my kinsman the said Stephen Colgate and Sammuel Beng and my kinsman James Searls Trustees of this my last Will and Testament desiring them to be ading and asisting my Exatrix above named and to see this my said last Will duly performed
And I do hereby revoke all formere wills by me made

In Witnesse whereof I James Calverly have set my hand and seale to both sids of this one sheet of paper March the twentyeth day in the thirteen year of our Soveraign Lord Georg the Second his Raigne by the Grace of God King of Great Brittian France and Ireland defender of the faith � anno domi� one thousand seven hundred and thirty nine

Sevenoake March 12th 1749 � Martha Colgate the Executrix above named was sworn to the truth of the above written will & to the faithful performance thereof before me T Curteis surr.

Martha Colgate the Exec�x was at the testators death and is the wife of Stephen Colgate, the testator dyed within eight months.
