Mr. William CARTER of Boughton under the Blean in the county of Kent, Yeoman, this day requested me to write down his wishes in certain particulars, namely that the thousand pound bond that was given by Mr. Arthur APSLEY, Miller of Boughton, to Mr. William CARTER.
He, Mr. William CARTER, gives this to his daughter Ann CARTER, for the purpose of
educating her and bringing her up.
The thousand pounds will be payable to the said Ann CARTER at the death of Mr. Arthur APSLEY
when it is his will that the thousand pounds should be so paid to her or to persons legally
authorized to act for her.

Admon. with the before registered will annexed of William CARTER deceased was on the eighth day of March 1817 before the Reverend John FRANCIS, Clerk Surrogate of the Right Honourable Sir William SCOTT Knight, Doctor of Laws Commissary General of the City and Diocese of Canterbury lawfully constituted granted to Elizabeth CARTER, widow, the relict of the deceased (there being no executor or residuary legatee appointed therein). She being first sworn well and truly to administer etc.
William CARTER died on 4 February 1817.
