First my Will and desire is that all my Just Debts and Funeral Expences be fully paid by my Executors out of my Effects as soon as is convenient after my decease
And also my Will and desire is that all the rest and residue of my Estate and Effects be equally divided between the four following
persons share and share alike (viz)
Elizabeth the Wife of Edward Drury, Mary the Wife of Humphrey Wickham and Ann the Wife of Edward Phillips my three daughters
and Edward Chantler my Grandson now an Apprentice to Mr. William Mynn of Goudhurst
And farther my Will and desire is that if my daughter Ann Wife of Edward Phillips should happen
to die before me that then her part of my Effects shall go & be equally divided among her Children as
they come of age But it is not to go to their Father
But if their Father should happen to die before their Mother that then she Ann Phillips may receive her share with her Sisters
And Son Edward only with this provisoe (viz) that all what her husband shall owe or be indebted to me at my
decease shall be deducted and paid out of her part of what I leave that the others be not wronged
And further my Will and Meaning is that she the said Ann Phillips nor her Husband shall receive any more than the Interest of the money due to her (after the said debt is deducted) which shall be put out by my two Executors at their discretion And no principal paid to her during her said Husbands life
And lastly I do hereby ordain constitute and appoint Mr. John Collens Juner and Humphrey Wickham my Son in Law my joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament utterly disannuling any other Wills or Legacies or Executors ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament

This Will was proved at London the twenty sixth day of November in the year of our Lord One
thousand seven hundred and ninety four before The Worshipful Thomas Champion Crespiny Doctor
of Laws and Surrogate of the Right Honorable Sir William Wynne Knight also Doctor of Laws
Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the
Oath of John Collens the Younger one of the Executors named in the Will to whom Administration
was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattles and Credits of the deceased having been first Sworn duly to Administer.
Power reserved of making the like grant to Humphrey Wickham the other Executor when he shall apply for the same.
