In the Name of God Amen I Stephen Cheesman of the Parish of East Farleigh in the County of Kent Yeoman being (praised be God) of sound and perfect mind, memory & understanding do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)

First I order and direct that all my just debts and Funeral Expences be paid and discharged by my Ex[ecut]ors hereinafter named and after payment thereof
I give & bequeath unto my Wife Elizabeth Cheesman the Sum of Seventy Pounds a Year of lawful Money of England to be paid her half yearly by my Executors out of the five per Cent Consolidated Bank Annuities during the Term of her natural life the first half years payment of the said Seventy pounds to be paid her as soon as it becomes due next after my decease

Also I give and bequeath unto my said Wife all my Household Furniture of every sort and kind during the Term of her Life
Also I give and bequeath unto my said Wife All those my two Messuages or Tenements a Wheelwright Shop and about three Acres of Land situate at Plaxtol in the Parish of Wrotham in Kent aforesaid during the term of her natural Life she my said Wife keeping the same in good & tenantable repair the said premises being now in the Tenure or Occupation of Mrs. Fry her Assigns or undertenants

Also I give and bequeath unto my Son in Law Edward Hunt of Boxley in Kent aforesaid the Sum of two hundred pounds of lawful Money of England Payable by my Ex[ecut]ors out of my Personal Estate within one year next after my decease

Also I give and bequeath unto my Brother John Cheesman the Sum of One shilling & sixpence per Week Payable by my Ex'ors out of my Personal Estate during the Term of his natural Life

Also after my said Wife’s decease I give & bequeath unto my daughter Ann Charlton of Cobham in Kent aforesaid Widow All those my two Messuages or Tenements Wheelwrights shop & about three Acres of Land herein before mentioned during the term of her natural life but not to sell mortgage or diminish ought of the same or any part thereof but keep the same in good & tenantable repair

Also after the payment of all my just debts as aforesaid, Funeral Expences, the Legacy and Annuity herein before given the probation of this my Will and all other incident Charges I give and bequeath unto my said daughter the Interest of all & every the rest residue and remainder of all my personal Estate of what Nature or kind soever during the Term of her natural Life
And from and immediately after my said daughter’s decease I give and bequeath the whole of my Estate or Estates both real and personal unto my said daughters Children All (except Cornelius) equally share & share alike he having already had more than an equal part or share with the rest

And I do hereby nominate constitute & appoint John Charlton of East Farleigh and Edward Charlton of West Farleigh in Kent aforesaid joint Executors of this my Will And I give my said Ex'ors the Sum of five pounds apiece
I do hereby revoke & make void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made And I declare this only to be and contain my whole & entire last Will & Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Stephen Cheesman the Testator to this my last Will and Testament (contained in this one Sheet of Paper) have set my Hand & Seal this eleaventh day of May in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & one

Proved at London 14th September 1810 before the Judge by the Oaths of John Charlton & Edward Charlton the Ex'ors to whom Adm[inistrati]on was granted having been first Sworn by Comon [Commission] duly to administer.
