In the name of God Amen the xxxti daie of May Yn the yeare of our lord God a thousand five hundred lxv [1565]
I Regenold Christen of the parishe of Goodneston besyde Wynghame do make my Testament in this wyse following

Firste I bequeathe to Elizabethe Graye my wives doughter a quarter of barly to be delivred to her at Christmas come Twelvemonethe after the date hereof
Item I give to bothe mye sonnes Henry and John eche of them a quarter of wheate and a quarter of barly And they to have the wheate and barly when they come to the age of syxtene yeares
And yf yt happen any of my two sonnes or bothe bee Vyotous [vicious?] and Wyll not be ruled by ther mother and ther frendes, Then I Wyll the said wheate and barly to remayne (to) Agnes my wyf

All the Reasydwe of my moveable goodes and Cattell I give to Agnes my wyf, She paying all my debts bequethes and legaces fully and wholly,
And yf shee wyll not pay all my debtes bequeathes & legaces, Then she to have no parte nor porcon of my goodes
Item by this prsence I do make and ordeyne Agnes my wyf to be my sole Executryxe

The wytnesses thereof Thomas Nethersole; John Lawrence and John Quyilter and other(s)

The laste Will of me Regenold Chrysten the day and yeare above wrytten as towching my howses and landes in Goodneston & Wyngham

First I Will that Agnes my wyf shalhave the ocupying of my howses and landes untill the tyme the yonngeste heire shall come to the age of twenty and one yeares, shea keaping sufficient rep[ar]acon

Item I wyll by this present Testamente that Agnes my Wyf shall have dureing her naturall lyf a porcon of the howses and landes for her dowry Any thing in any Wyll or law the Contrary notwythstandinge

The Wytnes Whereof to this Testamente and laste will ar(e) above menconed

Probatum fuit: 27th October 1565

Wife Agnes Christen re-married 16 Nov 1565 to James Oldfield at Goodnestone.
