In the Name of God Amen I Alice Christian of the parishe of Goodnestone in the countye of Kent wydowe doe make and ordeyne this my last will and Testam[en]t in manner and forme followinge, vizt. that is to say
I bequeath mysoule unto Almightie God from whome I did receave it hopeinge by the power of Christs resurrection to life againe at the last day to my Estimacon when theringh his mercie I hope I shall receave glory and my body to be buried in Goodnestone at the discretion of my executor heereunder named

Inprimis I give & bequeath unto Bennet Christian and Elizabeth Christian all that my houshold equally to be devyded betweene them except two paire of course sheets wch I give to my daughter Jane

Also I give to Thomas Christian one redd heifer
Item I give to Edward Christian Fiftie shillinges
and to John Christian and Valentine Christian Fortie shillinges apeece

More I give to my sonne William Christian and Abraham Christian whome I ordaine Executors of this my last will and Testament Thirty shillinges apeece
And my will is that my debts and legacies and funerall rights beinge distrayned whatsoever remaineth to be devyded betweene my daughters Bennet Christian and Elizabeth Christian towards their appattellinge
Item my will is that all my legacies before given and bequeathed shall be paid unto them as is before specified halfe a yeare after my decease

Notes:
Alse Christian, widow, was buried at Holy Cross, Goodnestone-next-Wingham on 11 Sep 1631.
Thomas Christian, Husbandman of Goodnestone married Alice Reyner, virgin of Nonington, on 10 Dec 1594 at St. Mary the Virgin, Nonington, Kent, by Licence.
Thomas Christian was buried at Goodnestone on 15 Feb 1619/20. See his Will: PRC/32/45/5c or PRC/31/75 C/4 dated 1619.
