I Daniel Clarabut of the Town and port of Sandwich in the County of Kent Gentleman do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say)
First I direct that all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expences may be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently may be after my decease

And I bequeath to My friend Mr. George Temple of Sandwich fellmonger a mourning ring of the value of one guinea

Also I give and bequeath the rents, interest and annual proceeds of all my estates, monies, effects and real and personal property unto my dear Wife Mary Clarabut and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life
and after her decease I give devise and bequeath all my said estate, monies, effects and real and personal property of which I shall die possessed or over which I have a disposing power unto my two Sons John Stone Clarabut and Daniel Clarabut equally to be divided between them share and share alike as tenants in common and not as joint tenants and to their several & respective heirs executors adm[inistrat]ors and assigns for ever

And I do constitute and appoint my said Wife Mary Clarabut my said Son John Stone Clarabut & the said George Temple Executrix and Executors of this my last Will and Testament and hereby revoke and make void all other Wills by me heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the said Daniel Clarabut the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Daniel Clarabut the Testator as ad for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses

Proved at London 5th March 1824 before the Judge by the Oaths of Mary Clarabut Widow the Relict & John Stone Clarabut the Son, two of the Ex[ecut]ors to whom Adm[iinistrati]on was granted having been first sworn by com[missi]on to Adm'r.
George Temple the other Executor having first renounced the probate & execution of the said Will.

Notes:
Daniel Clarebut Bachelor of St. Clement's, Sandwich firstly married Sarah Stone Spinster of St. Peter the Apostle, Sandwich, Kent on 7th January 1787, after Banns in December, at St. Clement. Witnesses were: John Friday & Eliz. Harrison.
Their known children (all baptised at St. Peter the Apostle, Sandwich, Kent):
Daniel n. 3 Feb 1788, bap. 1 Feb 1790 (bu.: 12 Feb 1790); Thomas n. 7 Feb 1788, bap. 21 Feb 1790; John Stone n. 21 May 1788, bap. 31 May 1788; Daniel n. 7 May 1792, bap. 8 May 1792.
Sarah Clarebut, wife of Daniel, died aged 26, and was buried on 11 May 1792 at St. Peter, Sandwich, Kent.
Daniel Clarabut, Widower of St. Peter, Sandwich married Mary Carter, Widow, of this parish at St. Clement, Sandwich on 10 Oct 1793 by Licence. Witnesses were: William Rutter and Mary Smithing(?) There are no known children of this marriage.
