In the name of God Amen the fyfe day of Maye in the fyfteenthe yere of the Reige of our Sovraigne Ladye Queene Elizabeth And in the yere of our Lord God a thousand fyve hundreth three score thirteen
I Moyses Cocke (sic) of the parishe of Godmersham in the County of Kent yoman being of Whoole mynd and perfect Remebrance But yet sicke in the boddye laude and prayses unto god do make this my p�sent Testament and last Will n manner and forme following
ffirst I give and bequeath my Soule to Almightye God my Creator maker and Redeemer Any mye boddy to be buryed in the churcheyarde of godmersham aforesaid

Item I give and bequethe to the poore people of the parishe of godmersham aforesaid twenty shillinges to be paid to the said poore in the parishe churche of godmersham aforesaide twenty shillinges by my executrix within two yeres after my decease

Item I give and bequethe unto Agnes Lane my servant twoe shillinges To be paid unto her by my executrix within twoe yeres after my decease

Item I give and bequethe unto John Shillinge my Unkles Brothers sonne twenty shillings To be paid unto the said John by my executrix within twoe yeres after my decease

The Residue of all my goodes and cattell unbequethed my debtes and bequethes firste paid I give and bequethe to Alis my wife Whome I make and ordeyne my Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament

This ys the laste Will of me the said Moyses Cocke conncerning all mye houses landes Tenements and hereditaments which I have in the parrishe of godmersham or elswhere within the County of Kent

First I give and bequethe all my houses Landes Tenements and hereditaments to Alis my wife for her terme of her naturall life

And I will that after my wives decease my saide houses landes Tenements and hereditaments shall descend unto Moyses Shrubsoll my Sisters Sonne To him and to his heires for ever
And further I will that Moyses Shrubsoll shall within two yeeres after he cometh Unto my said Landes pay unto John Sherwell late mye Servant tenne shillings

In Witnes Whereof I the said Moyses Cocke have to this my last will and Testament sett my hand and seale the daye and yeere first above written in the presence of
Thomas Bradndny John Martyn John Dynd and Robert Bradndny

Moses burial is not found � nor is that for Alice (nor a re-marriage).
