In the Name of God Amen The eight day of January in the xxviijth yere of the Raigne of our Souvraigne Lady Elizabeth by the grace of god of England France and Irelande Wuene defender of the faith etc.
I Anthony Cock of Marden in the County of Kent Woollen Draper being sick in body and yet p�fecte of remembrance thanks be to almightie god therefore doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and forme followinge That is to say
first I give and bequethe my Sowle to almightie God my creator and to Jesus Christe his sonne my redemer by whose merritts I trust only to be saved

Item I give and bequethe to my Uncle Richard Speede my wering apperrell the which I have here at Otford
Item I give and bequethe unto my Sonne John Cock one fetherbed with all thinges thereunto belonging and also my greate brasse pott

All other my goodes and chattells whatsoever my detts and Legacies being paid I give and bequethe unto Katherine my wiffe whome I doe make my sole executrix of this my will and testament she bringing up my children untill everie of theme shall accomplishe theire sevrall ages of xxj yeres

This ys the Last will and Testament of me the said Anthony Cock touching and concerning the disposing of all my mannors landes tenements and hereditaments whatsoever with the appurtenances sett lieing and being within the County of Derby and Stafford together with the revercon and revercons therof

Item I give and bequethe unto the said Michell Berisford my cousyn all that the Mannors landes Tenements and hereditaments togither with all the revercon and revercons threof with all and singular the appurtenances sett lieing and being in the Counties of Derbye and Stafford the which came unto me by the dethe of Mary Berisofrd late wife of Christopher Roper Gent

The said Michell Berisford payeing unto my said Sonne John Cock his heires executors or assignes the some of two hundreth marks of Lawfull mony on the feaste Day of the nativitie of our Lord god the which shalbe in the yere of our Lorde god a thousand five hundreth foure score and seven To have and to holde all that the said mannors lands tenements and herditaments whatosoever together with the revercon and revercons thereof with all and singular thappurtenances unto the said Michell Berisford his heires and Assignes forever

Item my will and mynde is that the said Michell shall put forthe the two hundreth mony to the most Benefitt and proffit that canne be made thereof untill my said sonne John doe accomplishe the full age of one and twenty yeres and the mony or proffit thereof cominnge to be equally devided and the one half thereof to be payd unto Katherine my said wiffe towards the bringing up of my children so long as she dothe continue unmarried and thother half to be equally devided amongst my three daughters / that is to say / Mary Elizabeth and Anne Cock and to be delivered to everie of them at there Severall ages of xxj yeres

And if my said wiffe doe hapen to marry before my said sonne John doe accomplishe the full age of xxj yeres That then the whole proffit of the said two hundreth marks from the day of the marriage of my said wiffe shalbe equally devyded amongst my said three daughters

Item I will that the said Michell Berisford in consideracon of the said mannors lands tenements and hereditaments shall likewise pay within one yere after my decease the some of five pounds of like lawfull mony of England of the which said five pounds I give Pnee Milry of Otford widow the some of twenty shillings and thother iiijl to go towards my funerall charges and the proffit of this my last will and testament at the discrecons of my said Supervisors

And finally my will is that if any of my said Children doe happen to die before they shall accomplishe there severall ages of xxj yeres that then I will that there parts and porcons which shall so happen to die to be equally devided amongst the others that shalbe then living
