This is the last Will and Testament of Edward Cock of Northcourt Farm in the Parish of Tilmanstone in the County of Kent Farmer made this twenty fourth day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty one

First I direct my just debts and Funeral expences and the Charges of proving and excuting this my Will to be fully paid and satisfied by my Executors herinafter named and subject to the payment thereof
I Give and bequeath All and every my Household Goods Furniture and stores plate Linen China and books and all my live and dead Stock and implements of husbandry and all my monies and Securities for Money and all debts whatsoever owing to me and all and every other my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my Brother in Law Thomas Nash the Elder of the Parish of Nonington in the said County Carpenter for his own use and benefit absolutely

but in the event of the said Thomas Nash departing this life before me then I Give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto and equally between all and every the children of the said Thomas Nash who shall be living at the time of my decease and the issue of any child or children of him who shall have died in my lifetime leaving issue such issue to take only their respective parents share and if more than one between them equally

And I appoint the said Thomas Nash and his two Sons John Nash and Thomas Nash the younger joint Executors of this my will
and I revoke all former wills by me made and declare this only to be my last will

In Witness whereof I the said Edward Cock the Testator have hereto set my hand the day and year first above written.

Signed by the said Edward Cock the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who were both present at the same time and who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereto subscribed our names as witnesses

Thomas Nash the younger of Nonnington Carpenter one of the surviving Executors named in this will was duly sworn as usual and that the Goods Chattles and Credits do not amount in value to the sum of One hundred pounds
(Power reserved of making the like Grant to John Nash the other surviving Executor when he shall apply for the same)
