Memorandum that upon Saturday the two and twentieth day of Aprill 1665
Marie Codd of the Cittie of Rochester in the Countie of Kent widdow being aged and sick n body but of perfect minde and memory being asked by Mr Robert Heath her brother how shee would dispose of that stock Allmightie God had bestowed upon her shee thereupon did utter and declare her will and minde in effect as hereafter is expressed

That what goods moneys or whatsoever els did any wayes belong unto her shee did will & give it unto her children part and part alike to be equally divided amongst them

And shee did then nominate and appoynt Mr Matthias Rutton her sonn her full & sole Executor
which words or the like in effect were uttered & spoken by the said Testatrix in the presence & hearing of
Margerie Godward wife of Stephen Godward of the Cittie of Rocahester and of Dorothy Wild wife of Peter Wild of the same
the mark of the said Margerie Godward the marke of the said Dorothy Wild

Probatum fuit presens Testamentum xxviii die mensis Aprilis 1665 coram venerabili viro Doctore Codd Surrogato etc Juramento Executoris etc Cui Comissa fuit Administracio etc primitus de bene etc jurat etc salvo jure
