Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my sonne William the bedd bedstead rigg[?ing?] and all other furniture thereunto belonging a great joynd chest and a box wherein my writing use to lye all standing in the Inner Chamber, a gold ring and a silver currall which were his mothers and a joynd cubbord in the hall and a table with a joynd front to be delivered to him at one and twenty years of age by my executrix hereafter named.
Item I give
and bequeath unto my daughter Mary a trundle bedstead and the furniture thereunto
belonging a great boarded chest having a great burn on the lidd with or by warming
pan one joint box with a lock for it.
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter
Elizabeth one truckle bedstead and the flock bedd boulster and coverlid thereon a
little borded chest.
Item give and bequeath unto my daughter Dorothy one half headed
bedstead and flockbed on it two boarded chests.
Item I give and bequeath unto my
daughter Joane one new half headed bedstead with long square posts and feather bed a
borded chest and a box wherein the pewter lyeth.
Also I give and bequeath to my
forementioned children sixteen peeces of pewter to be equally divided amongst
them. All the rest and residue of my goods and chattels to me incident and in any
wise belonging my debts paid and funeral charges defrayed together with the things
before bequeathed to my daughters to them delivered immediately after the day of
their marriages or one and twenty years of age I do wholly give and bequeath unto
Margarett my welbeloved wife whom I do hereby make full and sole executrix of this
my last will and testament and I do hereby require and appoint my loveing friend John
Thornton of Sevenoaks aforesaid freeholder and Thomas Stileman of Sevenoaks
aforesaid carpenter to be the overseers of this my last will and testament desiring to
see the same performed accordingly. The mark of William Cogger, signed sealed and
published by the said William Cogger the day and year abovesaid for and as his last
will and testament in the presence of
the marke of John Cogger Francis Hills.
