This ys the Last Will of me Geoffrey Cok of Godmersham made the day and yere above reheresed unto Willm Carter Willm ExSex [Essex?] Richard Sanders and to Robert Alsh my feoffes

First I will that my said feoffes shall suffer Alis my wyfe to have and to take all the Fines and profitts of my tents. [tenements] and landes pasters [pastures] meddowys and Woodes with thapp�tences [the appurtenances] lying and being in the pishe of Godmersham aforesayd durying all her naturall lyfe she kepying all the sayd tents. durryng the sayd terme of her lyfe sufficiently repared And also payng the Lordes of the Fee all Rents and Customys to theym due

And I will the p�sone or p�sones as the sayd Alyce my wif assigne at the tyme of her decease or as are by name shalbe taken also all the Fines and p�fitts of my tents. and landes xij monethis next after her decease past and yeare

I will the Gy [Guy] Cok my son have all my sayd tenements and lands pastures medowys and wodes to hym and to his heyres in Fe simple Under this condicon Fowlowyng (that is to say)

that the sayd Gy or his assignes pay or cause to be payd unto John Cok William Cok and Thomas Cok to every of theym or theyr assignes viij marks of lawfull money of england in this maner and form fowlowyng (that is to say) to eth [each?] of theym or to theyre executors or assignes xiij of iiijd by yer till the sayd sume of viij marks to every of theym of theyre assignes be full content and payd

Item I will further more that the said Gy my sonne shall have and occupye my said lands and tenements ij yeres after the decease of Alis my wyff besydes xij monthes next burying minde?

Also after her decease clerely befor that he pay my payment unto the said John William and Thomas Cok his brothers of the sayd sume aforsd [aforesaid] unto hym therein lymyted
