Item I bequeth to the mayntenyng of every lyht within the said church iiijs
Item I will 2 honest prysts at every of the dayes of my sepulture Trigmatale? and
Anunciacon do celebrate syngye suche? for the helth of my soule withyn the said church of Godmersham
The residue of all my goods and catallys before not bequethed my detts bequeysts and funerall expenses payd I geve and bequeth to Johan my wyffe whom of this my testent I make executrix
And as touchyng my lands and tents. [tenements] with thapputenances
I will that Crystofer Pope Richard Cok John Bulle and Thomas Alse my feoffes ther heires
and assignes shall suffer my said Wyffe and her assignes to occupy and the pfyte [profit] to
take of and in all my lands and tents. with thappurtenances unto the tyme that Cristofer my
son come to thage of xxj yeres kepyng my said Wyffe and her assignes reparacons thereof
competently and paying the Rent of and by all the said terme and when the said Cristofer
comeyth to his said age of xxj yeres then I will that my said feoffes ther heires and assignes
delyver or do [cause] to be delyvered all my said lands and tents. with thappurtenacnes unto
the said Cristofer my son to hold to hym hys heires and assignes for ever
my mesuage garden and yad land somtyme Fysshers onlt exepted paying the said Cristofer
my son hys heires and assignes unto the mariage of Anne my daughter xxvjs viijd
and yf my said Wyff be with child with a daughter or mayd then I will also that the said Cristofer his heires or assignes pay or do [cause] to be payd to the mariage of the said daughter xxvjs viijd p�vided always that and yf it fortune any of my said daughters [to] decease before they or any of them be maried then I will that the said xxvjs viijd to them or any of them afore bequethed or her so decessing be in no wise payable
And when the said Cristofer my son comyth to the said age of xxj yeres then I will also that my said feoffes ther heires or assignes shall suffer my said Wyff and he assignes to occupy and the p�fytes to take of and in my said mesuage garden and yard and land somtyme Fyshers of and by all the terme of the lyffe of my said Wyffe keping the reparacons thereof competently and paying the Rentt of any by all the said terme
And after the deceace of my said Wyffe I will that my said feoffes their heires or assignes delyver or do [cause] to be delyvered the said mesuage garden and yard of land unto the said Cristofer my son to hold to hym his heires and assignes for ever
Also I will that yf it fortune the said Cristofer my son to descease without heires of hs body lawfully begotten before he come to his said age of xxj yeres then I wil that my said feofees ther heires or assignes shall suffer my said Wyff and her assignes to occupy and the p�fitts to take of and in all and every of my said lands and tents. with thappurtenaces kepying the reparacons thereof of and by all the terme of her lyffe
and after the desseace of my said Wyff I will that my said feoffes ther heires or assignes shall sell all and every of my said lands and tents. with thappurtenaces to the best price and of the money thereof I bequeth to mariage of every of my said daughters 3l 6s 8d and every of them to be others heires of her that deceaseth not mariedd and if bothe my said daughters fortune to descease before they be maried then I will and bequeth the said money to them or any of them afor assigned to an honesy prest celbratyng dyvgne [divine] wervyce within the said church by the space of one hoole yere for the helth of my soule my frends soulys and al cristen soles
And of the money by my said foeffes ressayved [reserved? ]of the said sale I bequeth to the amendyng of the High strete calyd Sothestrete in Godmersham betwene the Baroughe and the meanegate vis viijd and to the reparacon of the Stourbregge at Godmersham aforesaid iijs iiijd
And the resedue of money reserved of the said sale I bequeth to the reparacon of the said church of Godmersham where most made shalbe from by my said feoffes and the Church wardens ther for the tyme beyng
