I Agnes Cok widowe in the pish of Godmersham being hoole of mynd make this my last Testament in manr and forme folowing
In primis I bequeth mySoule to Almyghty god to his Mother Mary And to all the Seynts in hevyn And my body to be buryed in the church yard of Godmersham forsaid

* a dirige is a Roman Catholic service for the dead � what we might call today a �dirge�.
