Item I bequethe to the hyge Aluer of Saynt John aforesayd iijs
The Residue of my goods not bequithyd I holy geve and beqiuthe to Johane my wyff she to dyspose for the helth of my Soule as she shall thynke best to the pleasure of god
And of this my testament And last will I ordeyne and make myne Executors the said Johane my Wyf and Peter Grove
And I make Master John Broker Alderman myne Overseer of this same testament and last will
And I bequithe to the seid Peter for his labors xl is And to myn Overseer vjs viijd
These Witneshith [Witnesseth] John Broker Alderman of the Cite aforseid - John Toste and others
This is the Last Will of me the said John Coke made the day and yere aboveseid And in the viijth yere of the Reing of Kyng henry the viiijth [1515] [concerning] the disposyng of all my lands and tenents [tenements] within the Citty of Cantbury or els where within the shyre of Kent in the Whnty [Witness of] John Broker Alderman Willym agylys and Wyllym Agarstone and the use of to my Wfe the whyche to him be Right of enheritance of John After the decease of John Tanner late deceased,
First I will that my seid landes and tenets. immediately after my decease shalbe soulde by me feoffes and executors And the money comyng of the sale of the lands and tenents. to be disposed in forme folowyng / that is to say /
to a preist to syng in the Churche of Saynt Margarett aforesaid for my Soule and the soule of the seid John Tanner and all cristen Soules by the space of a yere towards a Coop? to the same Churche of Saynt Margarett xls
