In the name of God amen the xxth daie of June In the yeare of oure Lord God A Thowsand five hundreth seventie and sixe and in the xviijth yeare of the Reigne of o[u]r Sovereigne Ladie Elizabeth by the grace of God of England Fraunce and Irelande, Quene, defendor of the faith &c.
I Vincent Colbrand of the parishe of Stte Lawrence in the yle of thenett in the County of Kent, being sick in bodie, but of good and perfecte remembrance (thancks be unto Allmightie God) do make this my last will in mannr and forme following
First I bequeath my soule unto allmightie God and I will my bodie to be buried in the Churche of the parishe of St. Lawrence aforesaid, nere unto the place where my last wife was buried

Item I geve unto Thomas Colbrand my sonne Twentie pounds to be paid unto him within one yeare after my decease
Item I give unto my sonne Nicholas Colbrand Thrytye pounds to be paid unto him within one yeare after my decease
Item I give unto Peter Colbrand my sonne Thirtie pounds to be paied unto him at the age of xxj yeares
And yf it fortune any the said Nicholas and Peter Colbrand do die before the said bequeathe be due unto them I will the one shalbe the others heire

Item I give unto William Colbrand my sonne Twentie pounds to be paied unto him when he cometh to the age of xxj yeares
Item I geve unto Anne Colbrand my dawghter Twentie pounds to be paied unto her at the age of xxjti yeares,
And if it fortune that any the said William & Anne Colbrand do die before they come to the age of xxjti yeares Then I will the one shalbe the others heire
And yf yt fortune that the said William and Anne do dy bothe before they come to the said age of xxjti yeares, then I will that the bequethes to them geven shall rest in the hands of my Executors

Item I geve into Johane Colbrand my dawghter Tenn pounds to be paid unto her within two years after my decease
Item I geve unto Elizabeth Dowse wife of Thomas Dowse Tenne pounds and one Cowe to be paied unto her wthin one yeare after my decease,
And yf yt fortune the said Elizabeth Dowse to dye before the same bequethe be due unto her, Then I will the same bequethe shalbe equallie devided amongs(t) the children of the same Elizabeth within the tyme aforesaid
Item I geve unto Alice Tenche wife of Richard Tenche of Sandwich Five pounds for to buy a gelding for the said Alice, which some of five pounds I will shalbe paied unto her within one yeare after my decease

Item I geve more unto Nicholas Colbrand my sonne, one bedstedle, a Fetherbedd, two paier of sheetes with other furnyture to the same, to be delivered unto him within one yeare after my decease
Item I geve Peter Colbrand my sonne, one other bedstedle with a Fetherbedd, two paier of sheetes with other furnyture thereto belonging, to be delivered unto him at the age of xxijti yeares
Item I geve unto Johane Colbrand my dawghter one trucklebedd with the furnyture thereto belonging, to be delivered unto her within two yeares after my decease

Item I make Zacharie Colbrand my sonne my sole Executor, and I geve unto him all my goods and Chattells unbequeathed, paying all my Debtes and legacies and bringing upp my two little children (William and Anne) unto some learning at the discreation of my said Executor

Item I make Richarde Tenche my sonne in Lawe my overseer to see this my last will performed according to the true meaning of the same
Also I will that my said Executor shall bringe upp my sonne Peter to some learninge as the rest
Item I geve unto the poore mens boxe of the parishe of Snte Lawrence twentie shillings to be paied at my buriall
