In the name of God Amen, the 26th day of February in the year of our Lord God 1553, and in the sixth year of our sovereign lord Edward VI. I, George Cole of Tonbridge in the court of Rochester do make and ordain this my last will in manner and form following, being sick in body and perfect in remembrance. First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God, my body to be buried in the churchyard of Tonbridge.

Item I give my brother Richard Cole one cow, and to my sister Elizabeth with two kine being in the keeping of my brother Richard Chapman.
Item I give to William Chapman son of my brother Richard Chapman one bullock of one year old and 5s in money which is in the hand of my brother Chapman.
Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved mother Agnes Cole a house and garden set, lying and being in the town of Edenbridge. Item I give the said house and garden to her and her heirs for ever.

Witnesses: Thomas, vicar of Little Peckham, Nicholas Bolpin, John Walker (Walter?), Thomas Blundell, John Thomas with others.
