In the name of God Amen I Michaell Coleman of Tenterden in the Countie of Kent Labourer beeing sicke of bodie but of good and perfect memorie (thankes be to God therefore) doe this Eight day of Februarie in the yeare of our Lord God One Thousand Six Hundred twentie and six make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and forme followinge
First I bequeth my soule to God stedfastlie hopeinge and beleeving to be saved by the meritts and passion of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christe, my bodie to be buried att the descrecion of my Executor

Item I give unto Elizabeth one of the daughters of my brother Symon Coleman of Laughton in the Countie of Sussex who is now married unto one Joseph Mitten the some of Foure pounds to be paid unto her w[i]thin half a yeare after my decease
Item I give unto Rachel Coleman one other of the daughters of my brother Symon Coleman the some of Foure poundes to bee paid unto her wthin half one yeare after my decease

Item I give unto William Lewcknor my best Clok
Item I give unto Merriam Smith my best Coate
Item I give unto Michaell Saunders my younge hogg w[hi]ch I have att Appledore

Item I give unto Stephen Tharpe all my parte of the wheate wch hee and I sowed together to haves (harvest?) and now lieth in the Barne of the said Stephen Tharpe
Item I give to him more twenty shillings To be paide when halfe one yeare next after my decease
Also I give unto him my horse wh I usually did ride on and all my wearing apparrell whatsoever, lynnen and wool and lyeinge at Appledore
Item I give unto Mary Polland widdowe the suite of Apparrell wch I usually did weare

Item the residue of all and singuler my debts, ready money, leases, goodes and Chattells whatsoever, my debts, legacies and funerall expences being first paid, I give and bequeath unto my well beloved brother Symon Coleman above menconed who I doe heereby make and ordaine sole executor of this my last will and Testament
Item I doe make and ordaine Stephen Tharpe above specified Overseer of this my last will and Testament

This is the last will and Testament of me the said Michaell Coleman touchinge and concerninge all my goodes and chattells whatsoever
In Wittnesse heereof I have heereunto sett my hand and seale dated the day and yeare first above written
