First I bequeath my soule to Almightie god that gave it and my body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at Aylesford near the body of Sir William Colepepyr my deceased father there to rest in expectation of a glorious resurrection into life everlasting by and through the death and merrits of Jesus Christ my onlye Saviour and Redeemer
Item I make my dear and loving Wife Dame Margarett Colepepyr (nee Reynolds) my honoured mother Dame Hellen Colepepyr (nee Spencer) and my loving brother in law John Beale Esquire Executors of this my Last Will and Testament
Item I give and bequeath unto my said well beloved wife for payment of my debts education of my children all my goods Cattell Chattels Household stuffe plate and jewells ready money rents arrears debts and demannds whatsoever (my lease of Saint Katherines of lands in Raynham only excepted)
Item I give and bequeath my farm and lands with their appurtenances in Burcott in Oxfordshire unto
Alicia Colepepyr my only daughter and her heires forever
And I alsoe give unto her my said daughter my said lease of Saint Katheryne's and the said lands thereby granted with the
appurtenances
Item I give and bequeath unto Thomas Colepepyr my sonne and heire apparent and to his heirs for ever All other my Manors Messuages lands tenements and heriditaments and the reversion & reversons remaynder and remaynders whatsoever and wheresoever
Item my will and desire is that my said executors shall take order that all the rents and proffitts of the said lands which I houlde of Saint Katheryne shall bee safely kept together untill my said daughter shall attayne her age of Eighteen years and then duely and finely bee paid unto her.
Item I give unto the poore of the Parish of Maidstone five Pounds and unto the poore of the Parish of Aylesford five Pounds to be distributed amongst them by the overseers of the poore of the several parishes within one month after my funerall
