In the Name of God Amen this fourteenth day of June in the first year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Anne by the grace of God Queen of England etc. And in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and two
I Richard Coleman of Sandherst in the County of Kent Yeoman being sick in body but of whole and perfect mind and memory (praised be God therefore) do make order and ordain his my last will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say)
First I bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my maker trusting through the merits and righteousness of Jess Christ my redeemer to receive free pardon for my Sins and be eternally saved My body I commit to the Earth to be decently buryed at the discretion of my Executrix herein after named

Item I give and bequeath unto William Vousden of Maidstone Hoyman my Kinsman my young Gelding whereon I used to ride, to be delivered unto him within one month next after my decease by my Executrix herein after named
Also I give and bequeath unto the said William Vousden my kinsman the Sum of one hundred pounds to be paid unto him within three months next after my decease upon this condition that when Jane my loving Wife & Executrix shall pay him the said one hundred pounds he shall enter into sufficient bonds to pay unto her the sum of five pounds a year during her widowhood and no longer

Item I give and bequeath unto John Vousden of London Bookseller my kinsman the sum of twenty pounds to be paid as is herein after directed
Item I give and bequeath unto Mary Johnson and Jane Johnson the daughters of Thomas Johnson of London Taylor my kinsman the sum of twenty pounds to be equally divided between them and to be paid unto them as is herein after directed
Item I give and bequeath unto John Evenden of Newenden Carpenter my kinsman the sum of ten pounds to be paid unto him as is herein after directed (that is to say)

It is my mind and will that my Executrix shall within six months next after my decease pay the said last mentioned Legacies given to John Vousden Mary and Jane Johnson and John Evenden being fifty pounds in all into the hands of William Vousden above mentioned upon the condition that he shall enter bonds and pay unto Jane my loving wife the sum of fifty shillings a year during her widowhood and no longer and that three months after the day of her marriage or the day of her death to pay the said fifty pounds unto the persons above directed (that is to say) twenty pounds to John Vousden above named and the further sum of twenty pounds to Mary and Jane Johnson above named and other ten pounds unto the said John Evenden

All the rest of my Goods Credits and Chattels whatsoever I give and bequeath unto Jane my loving Wife whom I doe make Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament she paying all my debts legacies Legacies (as written) and funeral Expences

and I doe hereby make my kinsman William Vousden above named and Thomas Petter of Sandherst Yeoman overseers of this my last will and Testament desiring them to be aiding and assisting my said Executrix in the Execution of the same she allowing and paying them all such necessary charges as they may be at in the performance thereof

And that this is my last will and testament I have hereunto sett my hand and seal the day and year above written
