I give and devise unto my dear wife Ruth Collins all those my newly purchased messuage
or tenement schoolroom yard garden and premises situate in Green Street
otherwise Lay Field in the Parish of Gillingham aforesaid and now in the
occupation of Mr Daniel Bensted and Mr William Hart
and all that piece of ground situate in Christmas Street aforesaid now in my own occupation (and being the
site whereon lately stood the old Methodist Chapel)
and also all other my messuages tenements hereditaments and premises situate in the said County of
Kent or elsewhere within...... to hold the same unto her the said Ruth Collins her
heirs and assigns for ever
and from and after the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I do hereby give and bequeath all my ready money money in the public stocks or funds or due to me upon mortgage bond bill note or otherwise household goods and furniture plate linen and china and also all the rest residue and remainder of my estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever ...... shall or may consist of unto her my said dear wife Ruth Collins for her own use and benefit
And I appoint her my said dear wife Ruth Collins sole Executrix hereof and hereby revoking and making void all former and other will and wills by me at any time heretofore made do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Collins have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day
of May in the year one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine
