I first give and bequeath to Peggy Towers the wife of Thomas Towers of the aforesaid Parish the House and Land and two Cottages adjoining the House situated in Lower Halling the land consisting of One Orchard one Garden one Yard etc and Field called Forty acres the whole of the Land being about one acre one quarter or there abouts
I likewise give to Peggy Towers during her natural life then to Thomas Towers the Husband of Peggy Towers during his natural life the Interest of Four thousand pounds three Per Cent Consols Stock now in the Bank of England
I then give the Four thousand Pounds Console Stock which Peggy Towers and Thomas Towers receive the Interest of during their natural lives to William Mungeam Senr of Meopham in the aforesaid County and his heirs absolutely
I then give to Peggy Towers all my Household Furniture Plate Linnen China Books etc in the House and about the House and on the Premises
likewise all Jewelery and Trinkets
I then give to Rebecca Knight the wife of Thomas Knight of the Parish of Snodland in the aforesaid County the Interest of one
thousand Pounds three per cent Consolidated Stock during her natural life
I then give the One thousand Pounds which Rebecca Knight the Wife of Thomas Knight receives the interest of during her natural life to
William Mungeam Senr of Meopham and his heirs absolutely
I then give to Catherine Cross of Brixton in the County of Surry one hundred Pounds absolutely
I give to Charlotte Shirley the wife of William Shirley [sic. Shearley] of Rockingham Row in the Kent road (One hundred Pounds)
I give to Sophia Cross the daughter of Catherine Cross of Brixton in the County of Surry one hundred pounds
I give to William Gill of the Borough of Southwark Fifty Pounds
I give to John Gill of Cobham in the County of Kent fifty Pounds
I give to Thomas Gill of Rochester in the County of Kent fifty Pounds
I give to Frances Mungeam the wife of William Mungeam Senr of Meopham in the County of Kent One hundred pounds
I give to Mrs Frances Southgate Widow of Snodland in the County of Kent Fifty Pounds
I give to Mrs Holding the Wife of William Holding of the Parish of Halling in the County of Kent Fifty Pounds
I give to the aforesaid William Holding of the Parish of Halling fifty Pounds
I give John Wickham my Godson and Son of Edward Wickham Junr of the Parish of Marden of the aforesaid County One hundred Pounds
I then give the whole of the residue of my property including the Freehold Property not before disposed of in the County and out of the County wheresoever and whatsoever and of what nature and kind soever to the Children of William Mungeam of Meopham in the aforesaid County Share and Share alike
and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint William Mungeam William Holding Frances Southgate & Sarah Holding Executors of this my last Will and testament who are to defray all my expenses of Building etc.

Proved at London the 10th Novr 1824 before the worshipful Jesse Addams Doctor of Laws & Surrogate by the oaths of William Mungeam &
William Holding two of the Executors to whom Admon was granted having been first Sworn duly to Administer
Power reserved of making the like grant to Frances Southgate Widow & Sarah Holding (Wife of the said William Holding) the other
Executors when they shall apply for the same.
(The following was added later in a different hand in the margin. It is very difficult to read):
On the 25th May 1848 Admon with the Will annexed of the goods Chattels and Credits of Frances
Comport late of Halling in the County of Kent Spinster deceased left unadministered by William
Mungeam and William Holding two of the Executors named in the said ? Will since? deceased?
was granted to Glover Mungeam and William Mungeam two of the administrators and two of the
Children of the said William Mungeam deceased and as such two of the of the Residuary Legatees
named in the said Will having been first sworn by Commission duly to administer
Sarah Holding wife of the said William Holding one other of the Executors died without having proved the said
will and Frances Southgate widow the other and Surviving Executor having first renounced the Probate
and Execution of the said Will.

Frances Comport was buried at Halling on 9 October 1824.
William Mungeam was buried at Meopham 15 Aug 1846
Rebecca Knight died on 22 Mar 1848.
