This is the last Will of me Thomas Cok of Tenterden made there ye 22 day of Aril in the yere of our Lord (Jesus Christ) 1,473 And in the yere of the reigne of Kyng Edward ye 4th to Thomas Pette Thomas Strekynbold Willm Pyeve and John Prers Clerk Feoffes of all my landes and tents. fyrst I will that Agnes my wyffe have her dwellynge in my messuage and sufficyent pasture for her xiik kyen whiles she is sole wyddowe Neverthelasse yf hir be seyn by the descrecon of myne executors and of myne enfeoffeyes necessary and behoffull for myne heyres that my Wyff remove from the place and land that then she shall so remove And then I wyll that she have xxs every yere for to purhey? hyr mansion and hyr pastour for hyr kyne duryng her tyme of hyr Wydowhode

Alsi I wyll that Willm my sone have all my landys and tents. to him delyvered when he comyth to the Age of xxiiij yere without hie be in wey of maryage as hie may be to his p�fyte and worship after ye dyscreton of myne Executors and of myne enfeoffes And so to have his rathyn {ration?} of part possession of And the p�fites yt off to his Use and to ye fyndyng of hym to Scoole after that my Wyff have her dewte as hit is before rehearsed

And yf ye seyd Willm my sone dye withoute heyres of his body lawfully begoten withinne his age of xxiiij yeres then I will to my enfeoffes her heyres or her Assignes sell all my landes and tents. And all the money poff� payed shall delyver to my daughters or to theyre heyres by evyn porcion Provided all wey yf my Wyff be with chide and hit be a sone then I will that he be partabill to my landes and tents. and shall receive? that bequeathys to my Sone Willm afore rehersed And yf hit be a daughter that she have in forme as hot is before rehersyd to myne other daughters
