In die Nome Amen The iiijth day of December in the yere of our Lord God [1520] and in the xijth yere of the reigne of King Henry viijth
I John Cooke of the pishe of our Lady of Northgate of the Cite of Cant�bury [City of Canterbury] being of hole mynde and in good memory Laude be to god ordeyne and make my testament and Last will in forme folowying
First I bequeith my sowle to allmyghty god oure blessed Lady and to all the Seynts of Hevyn my body to be buried in the cimytory [cemetery] of Seynt Gregory * of the said citye
* This is the Priory of St. Gregory � the church is 19th century.

Item I bequiethe to the high Auter of the Churche of Northgate aforesaid xiijd
Item I bequiethe to the bradzehed? of three masses within the same Churche iiijd

The Residue of all my goods nott bequeathed I holly gee and bequeith unto Benett my wif whiche Benett my wif I ordeyne and make my sole executrix of this my p�sent testament and Last will she to dispose for the helth of my soule as shall seme her best to the pleasure of almyghty god
