In the name of God Amen The xxviith day of Apryll in the yere of our Lorde (1534)
I Rycharde Cooke in hole mynde and good Remembrance make my testament and last wyll
First I bequethe my Soule to god almyghte and our Blessed Ladye and to all the holy company of heven And my body to be buryed in the churchyarde of Frytenden

Item I bequeathe xiiis iiid to the pishe church of Flett in Lyncolne thyre (located in the Wash)
Item to nodendey? vis viiid to be payd for

To my wyffes daughters Byddenden iiis iiiid to eche of them
Item to Elyzabeth Wythe my grett bras pan
Item to Johane Tolherst my lesser brasse pott
Item iiis iiid to be delyered betwyne the chyldren of Alyce and Elynor my wiffes daughters
Item to Elizabeth Wythe and to her chyldren iiis iiid

Item I bequeathe to Johane my wyffe xxs
Item to xii poore people xiid every yere the space of xii yeres upon good Fryday a peany [penny] a peece
Item to an honest preyste to singe for the helth of my Soule a quart[er] yere in Frytenden xxxiis iiiid
Item by yere xid a yere to be gyven to xii poore folke uppon all Soules daye a peny a peec this to be done in Frytenden

Item to iii chyldren of Thomas Wytte, Johane Alys and Elysabethe my cowe and the proffett of the cowe And any of them dye within the age of xx yeres one to be a nother heyer
And I will that my executors have the puttyng forth of the cowes?

And here I ordayne and make my testamente
Thomas Payyam and Edmonde Webb as I put them in trust
Item my Executors have viis and viiid a pece performing my wyll for there labors

Wythnesses at the payntyng of the wyll
John Taylowe Wyllm Samonde and Thomas Harenosse?
The Resydues of all my goods not wylled nor bequethed I will to be ordered by my executors and my iii wytnesses
