In the name of God Amen The yere of our Lorde God [1549] the xiith day of Auguste
I Willm Coke of Godmersham being hole of mynde and p�fect remembrance mak this my Testament and last will in manr and forme folowynge
Imprimis I bequethe my Soule to Almyghtie god and to all the companye of heaven and my bodye to be buried in the churchyarde of Godmersham aforesayd

Item I wyll all my moveables goodes to Alys my wyfe
Item I will my howse and all my landes to Alys my wife terme of her life payinge the Rents and kepynge the Reparacons all the terme of her life

Item I will all my howses and landes to Christofer my sonne payeng and yeloyng to Richard my sonne iiijl within the space of iij yeres / that is to say / in every yere yerely xxvjs viijd when he cometh to the howse and lands

Item I will that Cristofer my sonne pay his heyres assignes or Executors pay and cause to be payde when he or they come to the howse and lands xls to Dennys my daughter to be payde in ii yeres / that is to say / xxs by the yere

Item I will that yf Xpofer my sonne dye withour heyres mayle Then I will that Richard my sonne have my howse and landes to hym and to his heyres payinge the foresayd xls to Dennys my Daughter as aforesayd

Item I will that yf it fortune bothe my sayde sonnes to dye without heyres male Then I will my howse and lands to Dennys my Daughter and her hayres

Item I will Alys my wyfe to be myne Executrix of this my Testamente and last Will and Richard Adams to be my Overseer and give to him for his labrs xvjd
