In the name of God Amen The xxi daye of Auguste in the yere from the [computation?] of our Lord God an thousand five hundred and feftye [fifty] and in the ivth yere of the Reygne of Edward the Sixth by the grace of god of England ffrance and Ireland Kynge Defender of the faith and Supreme hedd of the churche of England and also of Ireland
I Symon Coorke [Cooke] of Ashefordhe in the Countie of Kent being sicke of bodie but of god rembraine [good remembrance] thankes be to allmightie god make my testament and last will in manner and forme followynge
Firstlie I bequethe my soule holy to almightie god my maker and redemer

Item I bequethe to Thomas Cooke my sonne when he cometh to thage of xxi yeres xls [60 shillings] of good and lawfull money of England
Item I will that my Executors shall deliver the same xls into the hands of Thomas Cartter of Wyllesborow [Willesborough] within haulfe a yere after my decease to the use of Thomas Cooke my sonne

Yf it fortume that Thomas Cooke do die before he cometh to theage of xxi [yeres] then I will the same xls to remayne to John Levendale my godsonne
Item I will that Thomas carter shall paye for the xls that Thomas Cooke my sonne shall have iiis by yere or else to deliver the same money into other housemans hands that will do it

Item I bequeth to Richard Butler my coate my dublet a payer of hosen ii shirtes and a shirte clothe
Item I bequeth to Inham? Butler his wife a blanket a therd coverlet and ii paryer of shetes
Item I bequeth to Raffe Smeth a pewter platter a pewter [tankard?] my table my forme and the bedstead that he lyes upon
Item I bequeth to Thomas Carter iis

Item all the resydue of my goodes I bequeth to John Levendale my godson who I ordeyne and make my sole Executor of this my present testament and laste will and Thomas Carter my overseer

Richard Butler Henry Kyng Raffe Smith and Thomas Coultershaye?
