Item I will and bequethe all my landes and tentes [tenements] sett lyeinge and beinge in the parryshe aforesaide to Roger Grace of the Towne and Porte of Dover in the Countye of Kente aforesaide To have hold and enioye the proffyttes [profits] and comodytes [commodities] theirof tyll my sonne Roger Cooke come to the age of xxjth yeers, And then the same lands & tents to come to the saide Roger my sonne [yf he be then lyvinge) And yf my sonne Roger be not then lyvinge, Then the same Landes and tenmets after the xxjth yeers are expired to come to my nexte heire
Provided hereuppon that the saide Roger Grace shall kepe and fynde my said sonne Roger Cooke
duringe all the saide terme yf he lyve so longe,
And also shall paye unto Rycharde Weste the some of xxvjs viijd whiche I owyhte [oweth] unto him
And of this my last will and testamente I ordeigne and make Roger Grer (Grace?) aforesaide my sole executor

Notes: Parish registers for Shepherdswell (aka Sibertswold) commence in 1563 and there is no mention of John or Roger Cooke.
