In the Name of God Amen the xxith daye of Aprill the yeare of our Lord God one thousand five hundredth foure score foure
I Gregorye Cooke of Wytherstone within the parish of Wei (Wye) within the countie of Kent yeoman beingw sycke of bodie but of perfecte minde and memorie doe ordaine my last will and Testament in manner and forme followinge
Ffirst I doe bequeth my soule unto allmyghty God my creator and redemer and my bodie to be buried in the churche yard of Wie [Wye]

Item I will unto Elizabeth my wife my dwelling house with all the lands thereunto appertayninge during her life and after my wifes death I will my sayd hosue and lands unto my syster Joane Cooke And to Ellen Collen my other syster the wife of Thomas Collen
Provided always that they duringe there tyme shall sufficientlie keepe and repaire the saide house and keepe it in good order

And if my systers die without heires then I will my foresaid house and lands unto my brother John Cooke
And after the decease of my brother John I will the sayd house and lands unto my cosins vitz John and Gregorie Cobb and to their heires

Item I will unto my [brother - erased] mother Thomasyne Gooddyne xxs to be payde unto her quarterlie five shillings everie quarter duringe her life and if anie parte or parcel thereof be not paide quarterlie according to this my will then my will is that she or anye other her assignes shall straine for it upon any parte or parcel of my house or lande, and the straine being taken to impounde and keepe till she be fullie satisfied and paide

Item I will unto Wyllam Cooke the son of Nycholas my godson xis xiiid
Item I doe will and bequethe to other of my godchildren xiid

All my goodes and moveables unbequethed I doe will and gyve unto Elizabeth my wife withal my debtes wheresoever they maybe had and founde who I doe ordaine my full executrix of this my last will and Testament

In Witness of this to be of truth I have caused this my will to be written in the presence of
William Master Clarke Curate of Wye - Nycholas Cooke and Willyam Collyns
