I Alse Cooke the late wife of Thomas Cooke doe make this my last will and Testament
being sicke in bodye butsounde in minde thankes bee unto God
First I comende my soule into the hands of Almightie God and dispose of my goods as followeth
I appoynt my cosen Robert Baryen of Bridge my Sole Executor to see my will fully performed in every pointe as it followeth
I doe give unto my Daughter Susan Cooke all my moveables and goods whatsoever together with the profits of my peece of lande comonly called Hallfielde to the bringing up of her and for her better performt the moste profite of the sayd lande untill shee shall come to the age of one and twentie yeares as shee shall long lyve, and after I wild it, and by this will and Testament, I doe give it, betweene my two sonnes Robert Cooke the elder and Robert Cooke the Younger and to their heyres of their bodies lawfully begotten to continue to them and theyres [their heirs] for ever
Beseche my God to blesst them and make them all his Saints ever this 24th of September and have sett my hand and Seale in the [gap] and thirtieth yeare of the Quene�s Raigne Defender of the fayth etc. and set to my hande and Seale. 1596

Thomas Cooke (Coke) married Alice Barger 22nd Nov. 1571 at Willesborough.
Their children:
04-Mar 1579 C Fethe (dies a child and is buried at Aldington)

14-Jul 1586 C Susanna
Thomas Cooke was buried at Willesborough in 1586, and Alice (Alse) 26th Sept. 1597.
Their son Thomas was also buried there: 27-Jan 1597, son of Thomas � but no christening found.
Thomas (senior) does not appear to have left a Will.
