In the name of God Amen The xxxth day of Aprile Anno Dom: 1604 and in the second yeare of the raigne of our Sovraigne Lord James etc.
I John Cooke of Cranbrooke in the Countie of Kent husbandman beinge sick in body but of good and p�fecte remembrance savede and prayse be unto almightie god do ordaine and make this my presente testamente and Last Will in manner and forme followinge vizt
First I comende my soule to almigtie god steadfastly beleevinge to be saved by the deathe and meritts and bloud sheddingeof our Lorde and Saviour Jesus Christ And my body to the earth to eb buried at the descrtion of myne Execturix hereafter named

Item I gyve unto William Cooke my Sonne xiid of Lawfull money of England to be paid by myne Executrix
Item I gyve unto my daughter Sara xiid of the like money
Item I gyve unto my daughter Elizabeth xiid of the like money
Item I gyve unto my sonne Thomas Cooke iiiid in money and my best Cedbping?
Item I gyve unto Bridgett my daughter xiid of the like money and my beste fether boulster and my Cobardslelh?

but if it shall happen that my wife do marry That then I will her to delvyer unto my sonne Thomas and my daughter Bridgett my best cowe or forty shillings in mony by equall portions to them

All the rest of my moveable goods and chattells I gyve to Bridgett my wife whome I doe make Executrix of this my testament and last will

John Cooke marries Bridget Tootes on 28th November 1584 at Cranbrook
Children:
William and Sarah are not found.
At Cranbrook: Elizabeth 27 Apr 1595; Thomas 29 Mar 1590; Bridgett 18 Feb 1593.
John dies and is buried 1606 � but not known where.
Wife Bridgett dies and is buried at Cranbrook: 10th May 1615.
