In the name of God Amen the tenth daye of March in the yere of the Reigne of our Sovraigne Lord James by the grace of god of England France and Ireland kinge defender of the faythe the Saintes and of Scotland the sixe and fortieth Anno Dom. 1612
I Nicholas Cooke of Wye in the Countie of Kent husbandman beinge sicke in bodye but of good and pfecte remembrance doe make and ordeyne this my last will in manner and forme followinge
Firste I give and bequeath my Soule unto almightye god my maker and redeemer by whose death and passion I hope to be saved and my bodye to be buryed in the churchyard of Wye aforesaid

Item I give and bequeath my house and all my lande scituate lyeing and beinge in Wye aforesaid to my sonne John Cooke and to his heires forever

Item I give and bequeathe unto William Cooke the sonne of my Brother William Cooke fortie shillings of lawfull Englishe money to be put out for his use til then by uses until he comes to twenty yeares of age, and then to be paid unto him with such profitts and use as shall aryse for the use of the same after the rate of twenty pence in the pound

Item I give and bequeathe unto Ann the daughter of my sonne William Cooke twenty shillinges of lawful English money to be put owte for use for her till the daye of her marriage and then to be paid to her with such profitt and use as shall aryse for her use the same after the rate of twenty pence in the pound

Item I give and bequeth unto Godlye Cooke the daughter of my sonne William Cooke the sum of twenty shillinges of lawful English money to be paid owte to use for her till the day of her marriage and then to be paid her with such profitt and use as shall aryse for her use the same after the rate of twentye pence in the pound

and yf any of these three children doe fortune to die before uses paid [blacked out words] be due unto them then my will and mynd ys [the] survivour or surviviours of them shall have the others porcons equallye devided betweene them

I will and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Brickenden the halfe of my household stuffe being equally devided into two partes
Item the chardges of my buryall and the proveinge of my will beinge discharged out of the Soume of fyfteene poundes

I give and bequeath the halfe of the same remayninge to my daughter Elizabeth Brickenden�s children to be equallie devided amongst the same halfe to be put out to use for them til the daye of their marriage or twentie yeres of age and then to be paid unto them with such profitts and use as shall aryse for the use of the same after the rate of twentie pence in the pound and yf any of them do fortune to dye before yt shallbe due unto them then my mynd and will ys that the other lyvinge shall have his her or their parte deceased and equallie devided amongst them

Item I make and ordeyne my Sonne John Cooke to be my full and sole Executor of this my laste will and testament
