The Last Will and Testament nuncupative of William Cooke, late of Chilham in the County of Kent, deceased and declared in the time of his last sicknes, by him uttered (f)or Lameness?, whereof he died, he being then of reasonable mind & health, but my? indisputible by reason of his Lameness, yet of good and sound memory and understanding, with an interest, and purported to make his will and dispose of his estate in theise words following, or the like in effect & substance, vizt.

He gave all that he had to Jane his wife (she payeing his Debts and burieing him),
except one gold sealed ringe w[hi]ch he used to weare, and or nine of silver buttons he gave to his Kinsman at London

And whereas he kept one Rent of Thomas, he willed his said Wife should take care of him and keepe him, and being asked where he would give his servants, he said he would leave it to his wives Dr. Triton & dip of him that they might thank her for it hereafter

Probatum fuit: 27th March 1645 to Thomas Hill and Henry Downe, Executors.
