In the name of god amen
I Daniel Cook of the parish of Borden in the County of Kent Yeoman, being sicke and weake but of good and perfect memory blessed be God do make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner form following
Imprimis I will and bequeath my soule into the hands of Almighty God that gave it Trusting to be saved through the merits of Jesus Christ my saviour And my body to be buryed according to the direcon of my Executor hereafter named
As for the Estate wherewith God hath pleased to blesse me with all I give and bequeath in manner and forme following

Item I give and bequeath into my Daughter Susan the sume of one hundred pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid into hands of M. Ralph Hayward of Borden within twelve monthes next after my decease And furthr my desire is that M. Hayward (if he shall thinke fitt) to cleeme [claim?] of a mortgage on the lands lying in Bredgar, which my Brother Brown of Sittingbourn morgaged for one hundred pounds And to settle it upon my Daughter Susan aforesaid And to receive the profitts thereof for and touching the educacon of her my said Daughter

Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne Daniel all my lands and Tenements lying in the parish of Tunstall in the County of Kent to him and his heires for ever after my mothers death But my will and meaning is that he shall enoiy the house at the Church stile presently after my decease

And in case that any of my said Children should happen to dye before they shall attain to the age of one and twenty yeares or to have heires lawfully begotten by their nowe bodyes That then my will and meaning is that they shalbe each others heires

All the Residue of my goods and Chattels I give unto my son Daniel towards the bringing him upp and educacon of him, to be disposed of to the best advantage that it may be according to the discrecon of Steeph Brockewall of Bredgar my loving Father in law And my Cosin Thomas Sedgar of the same, whom I do joyantly and severally make my Executors of this my last will and Testament

Provided alwayes that in case my loving mother should happen to have any sicknes or Lamenes, then my will and meaning is that my Executors shall allow her what is fitting for her durin the terme of her life

This is the last will and testament of me the said Daniel Cooke
In Witnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this 9th day of May within the xxith yeare of his Majestie�s Raigne 1669 Daniel Cooke
