I Margarett Cooke of Boughton under the Bleane in the County of Kent Widdow being sick of Body but of good and p�fect memory doe make and ordaine this my last will and testamt [testament] in manner and forme following
Inpris I committ my Soule into the hands of Almighty God that gave it hopeing through the merritts of his onely sonne my alone Lord and Saviour to have everlasting Life and my Body to the Earth to be decently buryed
And as to those comforts of my Worldly Estate which the Lord hath pleased to give me I dispose of te same as followeth

Inpris I give and bequeath unto Mary Innbridge ? my Loveing Sister five pounds to be paid unto her within fowre yeares next after my Decease by my Executor hereafter named

It. I give unto my sonne Henry Carvell Five pounds to be paid unto him by my Executor within fowre yeares next after my Decease

Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Brewster the Sume of Five pounds to be paid unto her by my Executor within fowre yeares next after my Decease

Item I give to my fower Grandchildren (to wit) Mary, John, William and Thomas Brewster the sume of twenty shillings a peece to be paid unto each of them within fowre yeares next after my Decease

Item I give unto my Grandchild Margaret Carvel Twenty shillings to be paid unto her within fowre yeares next after my Decease

Item I give and bequeath all the remainder of my goods Chells [Chattells] Household Stuffe whatsoever not already disposed of (my debts Legacies Funerall expences being discharged) to my Kind and Dutifull sonne William Cooke whome I hereby Constitute ordaine and apoint Sole Executor of this my last will and Testament at which I doe publish and declare this frist day of Octobr [October] 1677 to be my last will and Testament

Margaret Cooke died and was buried 20th September 1678 at SS Peter & Paul, Boughton-under-Blean.
Children etc. named in the Will are not found.
