I the name of God Amen
I Anne Cooke of the Towne and Port of Sandwich in the County of Kent Widdow being Sicke and weake in body but of sound and perfect memory, praised be to Almighty God for it, doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say)
First I comend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoeping through the merits death and passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon of all my sins and to inherit everlasting life And my body I committ to the earth decently to be buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named

Item I give and bequeath to my son George Cooke one Searge suit vizt doublet and breeches with a red silke wastcoate [waistcoat] as also a small Coate with what thereto belongs to be delivered to him within one month next after my decease by my Executrix

All the rest and residue of my goods Chattells Household apparell both Linen and woollen, money and debts whatsoever I give and bequeath to my grandchild Anne Cooke, daughter of my late Son Joseph Cooke dec�d to educate and bring her up,

and doe hereby nominate and appoint my loving Sister Christian Wilson widd(ow) Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament not doubting of her care and affection in the educating and bringing up my said Grandchild Anne, and to performe such of my goods for her till she comes of age to inioy [enjoy] them if any can be besides what must be sold for her maintenance

And my will is that my said Executrix doe pay and discharge all my debts Funerall charges and expenses and Probate of this my last will out of my goods and Chattells and any Legacys be paid and delivered
And doe hereby revoke disannull and make voyd all former Wills and Testaments by me made heretofore

In Witness whereof I the said Anne Cooke to this my last Will and Testament in one sheete of paper contained have sett my hand and Seale this twnety sixth day of February in the sixe and thirteenth yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles the Second by the Grace of God King of England etc. Anno Dini 1682

Probatum fuit: decimo septimo [17th] dei March Anno Dini 1682

Notes:
George Cooke married Anna Hutch 21st July 1639 at St. Clement, Sandwich, Kent.
Their known children (all christened at St. Clement):
28 Jun 1640 John; 9 Apr 1643 George; 17 Feb 1644 Joseph; 15 Aug 1647 William; 17 Feb 1649 Mary.
Husband George Cooke died and was buried at St. Clement on 28th June 1674.
Anne Cooke was buried there in 6th Jan 1682.
Son Joseph Cooke married Priscilla Hyde (both of St. Clement, Sandwich) at St. Mary the Virgin, Woodnesborough on 9th October 1670. Their known child: Anna Cook, 28th Sept. 1673 at St. Clement.
