Item I make and ordaine my loveing wife Susan Cooke to be my Sole Executrix of this my last will and testament to whome I give and bequeath the use of all my houshold stuffe during her naturall life
Item I will and give to my said Wife Susan all moneys and debts whatsoever due to me upon bond or otherwise toward the payment of my debts dischargeing my funerall provided alwayes that if my said Wife shall happen to marry againe then she is only to enioy but one seaventh parte of all my moveable goods and then the remainder to go betweene all my children And my will and meaneing is that if any of my children shall be under the age of fourteene yeares at the time of the decease of my said wife that the child or children shall be maintained and brought upp out of all my houses and lands by me given as followeth
Item I give and bequeath unto my said Wife Susann my houses with the appurtenances thereunto belonging lying in the parish of St. Dunstans aforesaid during her naturall life towards the bring upp of my youngest children untill they attaine the age of fourteene yeares
Item I give and bequeath my house and shopp with the priviledge of the Backside as it hath
been usually enoiyed in the parish of St. Dunstans aforesaid to my sonne Jonas Cooke after
the decease of my said wife as aforesaid to him and to his heires for ever
paying out of the said house to his sister Mary Cooke the sume of five pounds of lawfull money of England in
full satisfaccon of a bond which I sometimes since made to her and also paying to Alice
Cooke Anne Cooke Susanna Cooke and Sarah Cooke my children the sume of Fifty
shillings a peece when he shall enioy the said house as aforesaid
Item I give and bequeath the dwelling house with the backside ad appurtenances thereunto belonging in the parishe of St. Dunstans aforesaid in the occupation of William Cooke to my said two daughters Mary and Alice to them and their heires for ever equally to be devided betweene them
Item I give and bequeath to my three youngest daughters Ann Susan and Sarah my house with the Backside as it is now enioyed wherein the Widow Myles now lives to them and to their heires for ever equally to be devided between them
and lastly I doe give and bequeath all my houshold stuffe after my said Wifes decease to be equally devided between my said six children Jonas Mary Alice Ann Susann and Sarah Cooke
Witness that is my last will and Testament revoaking all others I have subscribed my name
and afixed my seale this sixteenth day of February Anno Dom. (English style) 1686
